Believed me and gave me my life back
I was referred to Dr. Moghimi by my pain management provider for multi-level issues with my cervical spine after a car accident. Right after my accident happened, another orthopedic surgeon dismissed my disc herniations and my symptoms, and refused to see me or reconsider when all signs pointed to my spine being the problem. I spent a year doing everything I could to avoid seeing a surgeon again, but ended up there anyway. I was terrified and anxious, but Dr. Moghimi validated my injuries, my symptoms, my feelings and verified I DID need surgery. He and his PA Thomas patiently answered all our questions and concerns. They worked with my insurance to get my surgery approved, and got me in within 2 weeks. My surgery was in December, and it went great. I’m healing well and things get better a little bit each day. As a nurse who’s seen her fair share of spine surgeries gone awry, I can say confidently that I would recommend Dr. Moghimi to anyone needing orthopedic spine surgery.

This man saved my life
I have had back issues for years! I had a complicated situation with a fused L5 and SI joint, a devastating herniation and a significant leg discrepancy issue. I had spent 4 days in the hospital in screaming pain and was ready to give up! At 6 months post op, I completely have my life back! Talented surgeon!

Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Moghimi is an excellent surgeon. I experienced very little, if any pain. Surgery could not have gone any better. He could do a better job explaining complete recovery time for you to walk again and what to expect along the way. I was only told what his surgical recovery would be and not MY recovery to walking again.

Repair of failed 1st. back surgery
Dr. Moghimi placed confidence in my surgeon selection. He reviewed my prior complications from a back surgery done a year prior. Put a surgical plan together with excellent results. I am one year post op. No real pain to claim. Back to golf and activities.Graceful.

Not knowledgeable doctor at all
Dr. Moghimi IS NOT a knowledgeable spine surgeon or doctor, and not the person you want trust in place for surgery.I went him twice complaining about spinal stabilization issues and muscle weakness, and elaborated on my history of back problems. He said I just need to do PT and will be fine. I went to him a second time with the same complaint; he said the same thing just do physical therapy.A year later I have tried 5 different physical therapists, dry needling, pilates, and much more getting weaker every month. In the back of my head I was like, the doctor told me I just need to train harder there's nothing wrong with me.Finally saw another doctor plus got imaging and was told I have spinal cord compression, causing the muscle weakness and need surgery.Any spine doctor that knows what they're doing should have ordered an MRI for me after complaining about my symptoms.I should of gotten this surgery when I first saw him, and unclear if I got permanent nerve damage.

Cervical spine surgery
I left my original spinal surgery because he had a medical emergency and he referred me to Dr. Moghimi. He was great and treated me well. My surgery went great. I am unhappy at how things have turned out though. As the months have passed, I have had new pains and nerve issues that I have tried to address with Dr. Moghimi only to be told “it’s normal for healing, new pathway, etc, etc. With all the research I have done, I was able to figure that out but know that there has to be someway to lessen the pain and burning. Not looking for drugs just solutions and getting the brush off.

Perfect Result
Dr. Moghimi operated on a compressed disk (or two) that was causing much pain from a bicycle wreck years ago. I had kept the pain at bay via a chiropractor but after years of that, i no longer was getting any relief. Dr. Moghimi provided expert analysis and assurance that he was well practiced in this type of surgery. Short version: the surgery worked, and my pain and discomfort were gone. Good doctor and nothing works like complete success. Highly recommended.

The stuff of nightmares.
Dr. Moghimi destroyed my body. I asked him pointed questions prior to the surgery, only to find out too late that he was deceptive. The injections that serve as a precursor to having the surgery didn't work, indicating that the surgery would not be successful, but he insisted it was going to be the only thing that would work for me. I underwent a procedure under false pretenses, and I will be forever paying the price. When I followed up with him due to the extreme pain following the surgery, he said, 'the surgery looks good, so I don't know what's wrong. I can send notes to your next doctor,' and shuffled me out of the room. His behavior was appalling, and his surgery was forever damaging. I implore anyone thinking about utilizing his services to go literally anywhere else.

Wonderful outcome with Dr Moghimi
I had a triple spinal fusion and a laminectomy in October 2023. I was so hesitant to have the surgery, but Dr Moghimi throughly explained the seriousness of my back issues and explained the negative outcomes should I opt not to do the surgery. He was honest and forthright and explained the surgery procedure and recovery well. I was not hesitant to let him do the surgery. All went well, and I’m on the road to a long but safe recovery. Highly recommend Dr Moghimi.

Consultation
I am 80 years old male with long term skeletal problems with chronic pain. Currently with Lumbar SCS Implant and periodic Cervical RF Ablation pain therapy. We reviewed MRI images, and it became obvious to me that I am facing dire consequences from foraminal narrowing. I am slated for another SCS implantation, Cervical, but the Lumbar issue became more critical and requires my decision.Options:1. Status Quo - do nothing.2. Live with Lumbar SCS implantation and go for new Cervical SCS implantation.3. Park Cervical SCS to wait until I can find out if I can get Lumbar decompression surgery.Dr. Moghimi was well prepared with my diagnoses and communicated clearly with confidence and compassion. I have met many doctors, all good, and again, Dr. Moghimi is top-notch.Viktor Kopponen

Dr. Moghimi fixed my back, fixed my life.
This was my second back surgery and was time for a fusion. Dr. Moghimi is in his prime, does hundreds of these a year, speaks like a normal human being, and was attentive to my needs. The surgery was flawless; six months later (three months after being cleared to resume physical activity) I’m working out 6-7 times a week and feel like I’ve got my life back. Thank you, Dr. Moghimi, you fixed my back!
