Dr. Michael Murphy, MD

Dr. Murphy takes time to know the patient and what their needs are from first encounter. In my experience he was very knowledgeable of the psychiatric problems I was experiencing. He monitored my medication regime closely, making any necessary adjustments or changes. Dr. Murphy is a compassionate physician who exhibited honest care for me. He included my family, when indicated with the treatment plan. Wait time in office would vary, but my appointments were never cut short. His front office staff was polite and helpful with schedules for appointments. When hospitalized he made regular rounds. His staff could have him call me after hospitalization if I had an urgent need to speak with him briefly before my next appointment. As from my personal experience, I recommend Dr. Murphy highly.

Dr. Murphy has this incredible combination of great bedside manner and knowledge about which psychotropic medications are appropriate for an individual patient. He is kind with a high sense of ethics in patient care.
