I was one of Dr. Michael Nelson’s first patients in Memphis. He helped me when I started having uncontrollable blood pressure. I was desperate for help and that’s exactly what I got. He is an outstanding doctor - provided immediate solutions! He is very thorough, kind, compassionate and so knowledgeable. We are blessed to have him in this area. I had been to 2 other cardiologists before my nurse practitioner sent me to Dr. Nelson; I was impressed and felt comfortable from the moment I walked into the office, to the absolute end of my treatments (in which I was nervous). The staff was very courteous, environment very clean, and Dr. Nelson was awesome! Never have I encountered a physician so caring yet straightforward, personable, and easy to talk to and answer any questions you may ponder. Dr. Nelson has an amazing staff who all admire his work and enjoy working for him.

I had a bad experience with previous cardiologist but Dr. Nelson is more thorough and performs more testing than any cardiologist I’ve had experience with and all of his staff knows my name when I walk in and treats me with respect and kindness. I kept passing his office going to radiation treatment for prostate cancer and asked my PCP to refer me there to him. So glad that I did.
