His ability to explain things Makes you feel at ease

Dr. Page did not wash his hands or wear gloves before examining me. He did not explain the side effects I would have after my in office procedure and I was caught off guard by the dizziness I felt (which he later told me was common). He was insensitive in treating my pain. The prescription for topical cream he told me he would send in was never called to the pharmacy. When I called the on call Dr. the next day having even more discomfort, Dr. Page happened to be on call. When I explained my pain and told him I have a high pain tolerance, he laughed at me out loud while on the call. I felt completely disrespected, belittled and disregarded as his patient. I am supposed to return for another procedure, but I will never see him again.

I've seen Dr. Page for a few different issues. I would highly recommend him. He's very professional and personable and takes time to listen to your concerns. He did a fissurectomy on me several years ago which healed well. I recently returned due to other issues which he helped me with and then did a colonoscopy. He then ended up referring me to a GI doctor for further treatment on some issues.

My mother has had 3 surgeries with Dr. Page. Each time he has personally addressed all my questions with him regarding the procedures. The first surgery was to address a chrons lesion, second a colostomy and last a rectal prolapse. Each step along the way, he was direct, listened to concerns, and overall seemed concerned for her well being despite her memory challenges. I was impressed with his ability to not only handle her fears, but also manage multiple family members. Highly recommend!

Dr Page explained my procedure answered all my questions and listened. Highly recommend. Thank you very much Doc for putting back on a healthier life.

I cannot say enough about this Dr.! He has saved my daughters life more than once and is amazing at what he does. He cares about his patients as if they were family!! Your concerns and questions are always reassured and answered and he never makes you feel like an idiot for asking! If you are looking for the best you found him!!

Highly recommend Dr. Page, he is competent and he is communicates well with his patients- straight forward in his replies, listens to and answers patient questions. Felt confident that I was getting truthful answers to some difficult surgery/no surgery options I was facing due to a cancer diagnosis. Dr. Page coordinated well with other doctors as necessary. I ultimately chose Dr. Page over a surgeon at U of Iowa who was not good at communicating with his patients and I am so glad that I did.
