2 techs doing tests didn’t seem knowledgeable… forgot one test & had to get help; was shown a video in the waiting room amongst all other patients which I thought was odd. had one test that I thought required some concentration & it was done in a small room with another patient clicking away on the test & it was difficult for me to concentrate. Dr Pankratz seemed arrogant & recommended laser treatment on my healthy eye so I wouldn’t need drops. It is the only eye i have left that works so why in the world would anyone recommend an unnecessary treatment!!!?? I went there for info on a cataract issue, initially wanting to be sure at the beginning of the exam that it could be done this year & was told I was getting ahead of myself. I asked that so as not to have additional tests done if surgery wasn’t possible in 2024. Awful experience.

He was not really concerned about me..,just felt like an assembly line. He was rude while examining my eyes to the point I wanted to just leave. Not very helpful not supportive at all considering I probably have a detached retina. He gave my wife two false answers about the condition (she looked up the answers). So did my Ladin surgery cause this problem? Makes me wonder. Nurse was not much better not really any care or concern.

He was recommended to us by a family physician and my wife and I have seen him for cataract surgeries for our eyes. He and his staff are excellent. We live in Bloomington now but still drive each other to Columbus to see him, and highly recommend him to care for your eyes.

After seeing 2 Optometrists who clearly didn’t know what they were doing, I decided to give this office a try. Dr. Pankratz was able to help me with my eye issue in just one visit! I recommend everyone with an eye problem or concern to go to him! Thank you Dr. Pankratz!

All the technicians I had dealings with were so kind and polite and patient and smiling then when I went in to exam room with Dr. Pankratz he was smiling and introduced himself and a hand shake he was kind in explaining what procedure I may need and very patient and reassuring. At end of my consolation he Hand shake was a kind reassuring gesture
