Prior to an ablation procedure, I asked Dr. Peterkin to not use general anesthesia, which is not common or needed in this procedure. In particular, I expressed concern of using a breathing tube during anesthesia. He agreed, but used a breathing tube anyway, causing severe uvulitis (inflamation and swelling of the uvula), which lasted days after the procedure despite steroids and other treatments.
