Had scopes done 3 yrs ago w/ biopsies & had diagnoses to only find out I have a diagnosis that was never ever disclosed to me until last week. I?ve been complaining about certain symptoms for a year and a half now & I feel gaslighted by him and his nurse & I was told that he recommends that I see another gastro doctor at a different practice. Which sounds to me like he doesn?t want to work with me anymore and the nurse denied that and I told her it?s ok & that she doesn?t have to sugar coat it. When a doctor or specialist or nurse makes you feel uncomfortable in any way it?s best to move on and find someone new to get treatment with. I thought he was a great gastro doctor but after my last call my feelings about that changed. I called and set up with a new gastro doctor that I hope I like & that helps me & listens to me & doesn?t push me away and make me feel uncomfortable. It?s not a good feeling from a doctor you are supposed to trust. Dr. Pezzone’s nurse is not so very nice. She will leave one voicemail and she sounds nice and the second one when you miss her call and she calls back after you call back and her voice and attitude is very different. My PCP has stepped up and is taking my concerns and symptoms seriously and I have found a new gastro doctor. I would not recommend Dr. Pezzone.

Very Satisfied
I have had multiple endoscopies and colonoscopies performed by Dr. Pezzone, both as an inpatient and outpatient. He is always on time. The prep is easy to do and I have not had any post-op issues. I will continue to see Dr. Pezzone for my scopes and will not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Doctor Pezzone was patient and insightful. When the first tests were normal he ordered more until we figured out what was wrong, and gave me advice that helped me get better.

Our family experience was a -1. He was arrogant and dismissive from word one. If we had not been in shock at the first words out of his mouth we would have walked out of the office in the first 60 seconds.

On January 3rd I had procedure with this Doctor. I can honestly say it was a pleasant experience. He made me feel very comfortable instantly. Any other problems relating to any gastro problems, I will be on the telephone to him! I highly recommend this doctor, and have already told several friends about him.

After reviewing his credentials I felt it would be a good match for me and my condition, Had a colonoscopy scheduled, no pre-op visit, no post-op visit, no biopsy results, no communication with him at all. Only spoke with nurse on the phone. Very disappointed.
