Excellent surgeon, excellent pre and post surgery physician, EXCELLENT communication with me throughout knee replacement procedure. As a patient that needed a replacement in a knee that was compromised by a major stroke, it took longer than an average patient to have full recovery of knee replacement. Dr. Pitta worked with me every step of the way, and yesterday, one year after replacement, Dr. Pitta released me and I am able to walk unaided again. I saw Dr. Mike Pitta for a diagnosis of my left knee pain. The staff took the X-rays and Dr Pitta was kind and professional, and nicely examined me and diagnosed some arthritis. He prescribed physical therapy and anti inflammation med, with an 8-week follow-up appointment for checking my left knee health improvement. Dr Pitta is very knowledgeable with great bedside manners, and the staff are great and professional.

First impression was that he is surrounded by staff that appear friendly, competent, and that preview a visit that will be efficient and professional. I complete questionnaires, receive X-rays and within minutes, Dr Pitta arrives and introduces himself. He is an excellent communicator, provides me with his diagnosis of the cause of my knee pain, provides several non-surgical options for relief and a discussion of the surgical knee replacement option and its risks. I left feeling comfortable with Dr. Pitta as the person who will help correct my knee pain issues.

My doctor appointment was really important to me today because I was wondering how I was doing after my second surgery. I was concerned about my recovery and what was next. But after today’s appointment I am happy with the results and information shared with me today!

He has replaced my right knee and hip. I have complete confidence in his knowledge of being an orthopedic surgeon. I have developed pain in my good left hip and I wanted his opinion.
