Fantastic surgeon, and person, highly reccomend
I just had prostate cancer surgery with Dr Rittenberg and currently under his care. I would absolutely recommend him anyone. He is professional, courteous, does not treat you like a subject, and reviews all options to you as a patient. He has an honest and genuine care for his patients that i have never had before with a doctor. He will not rush you out of his office and will spend as much time as you need to review every aspect of your case. He is extremely thorough and prides himself on ensuing his patients not only recover, but excel in the process.

Prostate Issues
Switched to Dr rittenberg from another urologist who I didn't feel was treating me properly. Dr rittenberg is VERY professional, knowledgeable and up front. Very thorough in his exam. He has a reputation of being the best in the area, and I believe it.

Dr. Rittenberg has too many patients and not enough time for them. It's nothing to sit in several waiting area for 2 hours only to see the doctor for less than 5 minutes. His advise is just as quick. I do not feel he has his patients best interest at heart. I switched urologists!!

I waited over 1-1/2 hours in the waiting room, and an additional half hour in the exam room. The doctor was rude and imperious, showing little to no interest in my discomfort. I have been told that his medical skills are exceptional, but no doctor is that good.

Dr. Rittenberg is a great Dr. He has a great bedside manner. He explains things in detail what he is doing and what to expect. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone. He is very busy, so you might have to wait a little longer than usual.

Overall negative experience. The doctor gave me my test results over the phone and when I later scheduled an office visit to further discuss the results (3 months out), I received a vague letter in the mail two weeks prior to the appointment telling me it was cancelled (but not giving a reason why). I would not recommend this office.

Upon performing a Cystoscopy by Dr. Rittenberg I became aware of a burning sensation when urinating, accompanied with a fever later that same day. Symptoms gradually became worse requiring a trip to the E.R. where I was informed I had a Bladder infection. I now am required to take a antibiotic for ten days and hope the infection clears. He also gave no consideration to the amount of time Patients had to wait for him.
