I have lab work on a continuing basis. With Dr. Cortas, I waited - never more than 30 minutes - to get my instructions. Now I have to always wait for a phone call at home or call in. I spend all afternoon after my appointment waiting for the call. Sometimes the answering service kicks in. On the phone calls, either for phone calls and especially appointments, they assume that I come into the Biltmore office instead of the Scottsdale Piper Center office. Having the lab at 1 or 1:30 and waiting for the call consumes an a whole afternoon by the phone.

I was very pleased with Dr. Roberts evaluation of my recent CT-scan and blood test. Both were without any exceptions or further treatments indicated, which were extremely satisfying and welcome to me. Continuing treatment and exams by Dr. Roberts will be welcome, as his interest remains professional....

Dr. Roberts completely dismissed my reason for coming to see him. I was referred by my primary care as 23andme told me I had 2 gene mutations for blood clotting. Dr. Roberts admittedly said he did not believe 23andme to which I replied that is why I am here to verify. He ran blood work, told me I was fine nothing to worry about, allowed me back on birth control which was a concern given blood clotting. Follow up 3 months later told I am fine, the wanted to dismiss me. Fast forward 1 month later I'm hospitalized with a blood clot that took out my entire femoral vein & PE. I saw him after, I was wreck I could have died. He asked why I was upset, I reiterated that I came to him so that I could avoid this, his answer. He never even ran the tests to check if 23andme was correct "... those are expensive tests and no insurance company will accept 23andme as a reason to run them" FYI no Auth was needed, yes I have them & this could have been avoided if he did his job Get a second opinion.
