Excellent doctor
I get why there are reviews saying arrogance and bedside manner are an issue - dr Rosenbaum is very direct and focused and sometimes bedside manner is lacking. BUT once you get used to his demeanor you also get a very caring and extremely thorough doctor. He will call before an appointment if he has questions, he follows up at all times of the day and weekends and explains things until you understand. He has been extremely attentive to my son’s recent hospitalization which he knows specialists are handling, but has still shown concern and has helped us navigate a lot of scary questions with insights and direction on who to go to. It took us a while to warm up to him but I am so happy we did, he is the best pediatrician we’ve ever dealt with.

was referred by another Dr. During the visit, Dr. Rosenbaum performed earwax removal as part of the procedure. A lot of blood came out of my son's ear(he's an infant). A day after the visit, there's now a lot of blood blocking his ear canal(able to see in daylight without the need for an external light source).

No BEDSIDE manners!! This Dr. Is very arrogant and extremely rude. I am the type to say it how it is! I bit my tongue as my wife and child were in the room. He does not let you say anything and if you do, he would respond in an arrogant response by downgrading you. I guess Michael has a Dr. in front of his name and he thinks he is allowed to talk about how he wants people. I am in contact with NorthShore Directors. Unfortunately, I don’t let things go that easily Michael Rosenbaum! I would stay away from Michael unless you want to be treated how we were. I noticed other parents were treated like trash by reviews I have read. Unfortunately, the nurse Janina was extremely rude as well as rolling her eyes while explaining what is going on with our child. To make matters worse we were leaving passing the nurses station as they sit and stare and gossip like little children. Very unprofessional.

I met this Doctor at Lincolnwood for my DD.This is a very rude and arrogant person. Just because you are a doctor, doesn't mean you can speak anything. Have some respect to your patients!! He didn't pay attention to what I was saying, after checking her ears and heartbeat he said - 'Oh well, its just a cold and there is no ear infection. She seems to have some kind of ache or pain' and prescribes ibuprofen. Seriously??? Is this why you are called a doctor? 1 is the lowest rating I could give

Terrible bedside manner. Would stay away. Arrogant and is not good at listening to your concerns. Seems like he has stayed a day too long!

Dr.Rosenbaum is a wonderful doctor, I wish I could write all the times that he helped my kids, but it would be too long. Out of so many doctors He was the one that discovered my daughters kidney disease, for some time because of insurance we couldn't be his patients, but that didn't stop him from calling me when he found out my son was in the hospital with heart condition, giving me advice, that is a doctor that cares for his patients. I'm so lucky and appreciative to have him as my kids PCP.

Dr. Rosenbaum, if you don't want to deal with walk-in hours, then you should have a private practice. But since you work for a large corporate medical group--which pays you a salary-- you need to adhere to the structure and promise they've made to patients.

Dr. Rosenbaum is a kind person, and an excellent physician. He has really helped us so much! Great bedside manner, great with the kiddo. He's attentive, answers all our questions. He provides us with excellent reading material to take home at each visit. We took his advice on how to help our daughter sleep better at night. She's been sleeping all night and taking regular naps on schedule since she was 4 months. He makes check up calls from time to time. We feel so lucky he's our paediatrician.
