Time. To retire??
Not good Started of with a very comprehensive checkup then detailed instructions which I followed exactly. The next visit he told me that I did not follow his instr4uctions and contradicted his own notes. Something is rea;;y wrong here. I am not sure what the issue is. Very rude and condescending sometimes then empathetic sometimes.

I have been told he is the best of the best in the area, however, I did not quite experience that. His office staff was very pleasant. I was taken to a room and waited there. The visit started with him coming late into the room. While in the room he asked various questions in a condescending tone (that made me feel very uncomfortable). He would ask leading questions and provide an answer. It was very uncomfortable. It felt like he was speaking to mainly hear his own response barely giving me a chance. Anytime I would answer his questions he would respond in an interrogative/condescending way. It was not what I was expecting. I felt he offered advice outside of his area of expertise. I definitely will never see myself going back or making any recommendations.

Something very wrong here.
Potential early onset dementia. I filled out extensive medical history, including psych diagnoses & meds. I quickly realized that you don’t ask questions. He asks & expects a succinct answer, or a yes or no. Other reviews about the dictation & rudeness are completely true. I could tell his information processing is not the norm, but many brilliant people are like this. He asked about my mood, I said good. He asked that I bring someone close to me to the next appointment. Ordered CT scan, results not sent to him, next appt canceled. My roommate took the day off to come. He asked how my mood was. She said I had depression and anxiety. He said “you told me you were happy” he essentially said I’d lied to him and to get counseling. I informed him I was under psych care with meds for 45 years. This wasn’t that. Had he even looked at my history? He made me feel like an idiot & cost my roommate a day of work. Other neuro found Hypersomnia and a small aneurysm, now successfully treated.

Professional, no nonsense treatment strategy
I have been seeing Dr Michael Rossen since 2020, when he diagnosed my neurological disorder. Though the news was not good, he didn't prevaricate, but was professional, honest and direct. He immediately got me on the medications and physical therapy I needed to fully control my symptoms and gave me life style advice to best prepare for my disorder's progression. He dictates the visit notes during our appointment, which I came to appreciate, as it gave me a chance to restate anything that I may have miscommunicated, as well as allowed him to be fully current on my issues at every visit. Other doctors may have a more polished manner and make leave you with better feelings, but go to Dr Rossen if you what someone who is very direct and will do what it takes to make you feel better. I would whole heartedly recommend Dr. Rossen to anyone serious about managing their neurological condition(s).

He is a VERY rude doctor. He did believe that I have seizures and told me to see a shrink. Why would I make that up? His bedside manners were atrocious. Do not see this person!

I went to See Dr. Rossen for an MRI follow-up and his reply to me was well I'm not prepared to go over that with you today. I said well that's why my primary has sent me here. He said well you are here for a follow up for Migraines. This man is rude crude and condescending and has no personality and dictates while he is talking to you to make you look like an idiot when you go see your primary. I've done plenty of research on my symptoms from my MRI results and told him to his face I was getting a second opinion and he got even more rude to me shook my hand and said " I think we are done then".

Never been more upset by a medical provider. He speaks to his patient while voice typing through a hand-held microphone, verbalizing all punctuation while speaking to patient. Most of the time he is looking at his monitor while he is speaking to the patient. If you ask a question he turns to his monitor, holds up his microphone, and answers you without looking at you, while voicing all punct. marks. Then he looks at you silently leaving you to make the next move in the conversation. He wrote a 4 word dx on my copy of notes and when I asked him what that meant he actually said "I don't mean to be trite, but which of those 4 words do you want me to explain?" Rude person. Cold manner. He even used punctuation marks when speaking to us without his microphone, after pushing away from desk. My recommendation to you comma would be comma open quotation all caps do not bother exclamation point open parentheses unless comma this is the way you want to be spoken to period close parentheses

Meeting with Dr. Rossen was very informative and he was able to give us as much time as we needed to cover the issues we were concerned about. We feel strongly about recommending him to others.

I was there for my 20 years old daughter, who came to ask an opinion of her MRI results and with intense migraine pain. The doctor was extremely rude, interrupting her in every sentence. Instead of answering my daughter's questions, he would dictate into his computer, which looked weird and unprofessional. When my daughter asked him about her migraines, he first told us that it needs an exam that he doesn't have time now, and then suddenly "changed his mind" causing her more pain. I am shocked.

Dr. Rossen is the best there is. I've been a patient of his for more than a year. It takes a bit of time to get to know him, but it's well worth it. He cares about his patients and takes great care on explaining procedures and he knows what the best treatments are for each of his clients. Thank you Dr.Rossen ..Stacey Dodson

I had pain in my legs and numbness in my feet for over two years. I went to several doctors who treated me for issues related to the lumbar region of my back. I had cortisone shots from a spine doctor which did not help me. I also had physical therapy, saw a chiropractor, and even had acupuncture. Nothing helped. I was referred to Dr. Michael Rossen by my family doctor. After doing some tests, he told me my back was fine. He diagnosed myofacsial syndrome. I'm on my way to recovery.

His office staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. You better not need paperwork to return to work, because his office " does not have the ability " to fill out 1 side of 1 page provided by the workplace. WE instead are now having to struggle, because he will not fill out a work release form . It;s a such a shame he has to make up such BS because he is lazy. Needing to get lawyers involved over something that would take less than a minute to fill out is just plain silly. GO ELSEWHERE!!

Dr Rossen is completely rude and condescending and is quick to rush you out the door. He seems to have no knowledge or ability to explain anything about your condition. He made an error with my meds and caused me to have a seizure, admitted it was his fault for not having me correct the med dosage and then was completely unwilling to help do anything to correct the horror I went through for months after with ongoing issues. I would have give zero stars if possible.

I see Dr. Rossen for chronic migraine, an extremely complex condition with many causes (I have a PhD in Neurobiology). When I came to him, I was having 28-30 migraines a month and was struggling to function at all. I now typically have 8-10 a month, and the severity and duration are GREATLY reduced and I am able to work even on migraine days. For miracles, see your priest. For warm fuzzies, get a teddy bear. For help easing your complex migraines, see Dr. Rossen. He knows what he is doing.

I wouldn't recommend him at all. He doesn't listen to his patients. He's rude. His secretary made me book a follow up appointment that I didn't need, which leads me to believe that they do that just to get paid from the insurance company. Complete waste of time.

I am currently seeing Dr. Rossen for a problem that has been bothering me for the last 3-4 years. I would highly recommend him. He is very meticulous and seems to have a wealth of medical knowledge with regards to neurological issues. I have been to the office at least a half dozen times in the last 9 months and have never had to wait longer than 20 minutes.
