Caring and patient
I had an appointment with dr. Schuck in December when he spent almost a full hour with me answering all of my questions about upcoming surgery. He explained anything I asked without rushing. I learned a lot and really appreciated the time and consideration.

Dr. Shuck is compassionate and warm. He listens and has a great disposition. He has offered alternatives and thoughts regarding care. His P.A is also wonderful to have for care. With either of them you will not be disappointed.

I was referred to Dr. Schuck by my PCP regarding a partially torn hip labrum. Dr. Schuck spent a lot of time talking to me about this condition and ordered a MRI with a cortisone injection to help with the pain. I ended up needing surgery and Dr. Schuck referred me to a surgeon that could do the surgery, as he only does surgery on older hips and I am 29 years old. During my one meeting with him, I felt like he was a caring and knowledgeable doctor. The appointment never felt rushed and he answered all my questions. Although he only does surgery on older hips, I would have trusted him to do this surgery.

Both Dr. Schuck & his PA Andy Domer spent lots of time answering my questions and very professionally assessing my situation. I am now 11 weeks post-op from a total knee replacement and couldn’t be happier. Their office also provides a full-service post-op physical therapy center with excellent PT’s and follow-up care. Highly recommend Dr. Schuck and his practice!

Dr. Schuck actually takes the time to sit down with you and listen and help. I have never met any doctor that takes the time it takes to help treat patients. His PA-C Andy is the very same. They truly care about each patient. The staff is also very kind and always on top of things. Highly recommend!

I had a left knee replacement several years ago near Age 69. I am 80 now, and I could not be more pleased with the pre evaluation, and the entire course of rehab afterward.

First I saw MD Mitchell who would only look at one body part apparently this is group policy. I was told to get a hip MRI which weeks later still has not been approved because lack of information provided to my insurance. So once again no answers about my knee pain. Finally I saw Dr. Schuck’s PA Andy who advised me to continue working out. I asked for an MRI of my knee. With still no call back a week after the MRI I saw my primary Dr. who advises me my Meniscus was torn in multiple places.

2 hip replacements and my hip is still painfully popping. when i asked him about underlying issues causing my problem he didn't seem to care. he also didn't seem to believe me when i returned after each surgery telling him that i was still having the same problem. I would never recommend Dr Shuck to my worst enemy. He never really helped me and he never once listened to what i was saying to him.

It's really hard to rate Dr. Schuck since, in spite of telling the office that I did not want to see the PA, I only saw Dr. Schuck twice and the PA at least 5 times. Six months after my surgery, I have more pain than before. When I mentioned that to the PA he said that sometimes this happens and recommended the injections. Three injections later, no improvement.

Refused to do Total Hip because of chance of infection, insisted on Arthroscopic which put me into more pain now sends a PA in for the 3 follow up visits to tell me I will be in PAIN until I get a Total hip Replacement. Has not even shown his face to me since surgery. 3 1/2 months still on crutches and now need to find a real surgeon to do what should have been done originally. Now risk of infection has disappeared and they tell me to see a pain doctor, no follow up has even been scheduled.

My first appointment with Dr. Schuck was a hip consult, he was very thorough in explaining what was wrong and how they would fix it. He also explained that if their not bothering me right now let them be. My second appointment was to get a second opinion on a meniscus tear that I had been told would heal by another PA, Long story short I'm 6 days post op and doing better than before surgery. Thanks Dr. Shuck :)

This doctor is horrible. He misdiagnosed labral tears in my hips. I had to endure another year of pain until I found an excellent surgeon who diagnosed and repaired my tears. Schuck diagnosed me off of a very fuzzy MRI film that even the radiologist recommended repeating. He paid no attention to my symptoms or complaints. I wouldn't refer him to anyone. His misdiagnosis prolonged my recovery. Truly horrible.
