Dr. Michael Silver, MD

Dr. Silver has an excellent bedside manner and is very down to earth. His 35 years of experience has given him an in-depth knowledge of the human psyche. He is nonjudgmental and understanding of a plethora of human experiences that are presented by his patients. Although he is a generalist in practice, patients can feel comfortable that he is extremely knowledgeable about psychological disorders and conditions across the spectrum of mental health issues. I would not hesitate to refer patients or clients to him. He allows individuals that he treats to openly, fully and freely express their issues, concerns, and fears in a congenial environment.

As the years went one and conditions in my life worsened considerably, Dr. Silver had less and less time to talk to me. At this point, we have not had an appointment, either over the phone or in his office in more than a year and he has outright refused to speak to me (but he keeps writing prescriptions without monitoring their effects upon me). He lacks ethics, empathy and professionalism.
