Dr. Stifelman and his team were very respectful of my privacy and my personal prostate problem, they immediately began working to provide the appropriate treatment for my health condition. It was a complete success, 4 months have passed since the surgery and I feel 99% recovered from incontinence and erectile dysfunction. God bless him and his professional team.

I had the extraordinary privilege of being under the care of Dr. Stifelman during a recent life-saving procedure, and I can confidently say that he is an exceptional surgeon. Dr. Stifleman is truly a hero in every sense of the word, and I cannot thank him and his team enough for everything they have done for me. I will remain eternally grateful for their incredible care and support throughout my journey. The only thing I regret is not having known about Dr. Stifleman and his team sooner.

Dr. Stifelman was extremely arrogant and unprofessional. He misdiagnosed and/or didn't bother noticing a protruding hernia that was causing my problem, did not respect my gender privacy rights, he took cellphone calls and texts during the hurried examination time, and was condescending and insulting from the moment he walked in. This doctor has absolutely no respect for patients as human beings, making the appointment a total waste of time and money. In fact, I was so disgusted I asked for a refund of my copay. If you're looking for compassionate care and concern for your urological problems, this is not the doctor to see.

I was referred by my personal Urologist to Dr. Michael Stifelman with a diagnosis of prostate cancer, Gleason 7, due to Dr. Stifelman‘s special expertise in robotic surgery. Dr. Stifelman comes across as a very kind man and a good listener. I went ahead and had a Single Port robot assisted radical prostatectomy yesterday at 2:30 PM. I had tramadol yesterday evening and plain acetaminophen around the clock. I left the hospital today with minimal pain and no narcotic. Outstanding.

Dr. Stifelman has been my doctor for over 10 years. He explains what needs to be done and answers all of my questions. Recently Dr. Stifelman needed to perform surgery on me. The care provided to me before, during and after the surgery was excellent. Dr. Stifelman and his staff are there when you need them. Dr. Stifelman is a caring, knowledgeable and gifted surgeon. He is truly the best.

Dr. Michael Stifelman and Suzannah Sorin, PA put me at ease at our first meeting. We discussed my options at length and it was clear to me that surgery was the best way to proceed. Surgery was performed robotically by Dr. Stifelman with Suzannah Sorin, assisting. My recovery was amazing. I did not need any pain medication the next day, not even acetaminophen. Thank you Dr Stifleman, and thank you Suzannah Sorin for the special care you gave me.

Dr. Stifelman is great - he exudes and instills confidence. He is very understanding and approachable. The robotic surgery was amazing - I had a quick recovery with much less pain than I anticipated. The follow up has been great I highly recommend Dr. Stifelman and his staff.

dr stifelman was very professional at my first visit, he took time to explain my problem and decided to have him do surgery. every thing went well and trust in him !

The surgery was perfect. A state of art! He made me feel safe and provided information about the entire procedure on day one. His team of nurses is awesome. I strongly recommend him if you are looking for an urologist.

Excellent MD who was gracious and humble during my initial examination. He reminds me of another superb surgeon, Dr. Kaptain who's demeanor makes you realize that you are in good hands. My prostatectomy was successful with no complications. My biggest worries were to be incontinent for life, never have any sexual relations with my wife, and the cancer was not completely removed. None of those came to fruition. I am diaper free, after only a week use, my wife is happy and my subsequent PSA tests all came back as undetectable. His PA, Suzi is a wonderful help who has been the leader in my post op care. I did my research when it was determined that my "slow growing" cancer in my prostate nearly tripled in size after 2 years of active surveillance and my biopsies had multiple positive specimens as opposed to one. I discovered that a successful robotic surgery requires a surgeon who has done thousands of them and I found that Dr. Stifelman was the leader in this field in NJ.

I had kidney cancer surgery in 2018. Dr. Stifelman and his staff are amazing. Dr. Stifelman's PA Suzannah Sorin is unbelievably great. I wrote a review about my experience right after surgery but I need to chime in again. Since the surgery I had yearly checkups. They have always gone so smoothly and efficiently. The level of communication is unprecedented. This is the highest level of care you could possibly receive.

I can't say enough to describe how great Dr. Stifelman is, as a physician, surgeon, and especially as a human being. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in Canada and elected to undergo robotic prostatectomy in the US because of the long wait time in Canada. Shortly after requesting an appointment with Dr. Stifelman, he conducted a very friendly half-hour zoom consultation with me, and gave a thorough description of my condition with detailed explanations of all my tests and scans. I was totally confident I would be in the right hands, and my surgery was scheduled soon after, which went flawlessly. Dr. Stifelman checked on me after the surgery, and saw me again a week later to personally give me the okay to go home. His friendly staff was always available when needed. I received many recommendations for Dr. Stifelman prior to the surgery, but I also did my own research. I chose Dr. Stifelman without hesitation, and truly believe that he is the best choice as a urologist and surgeon.

I live in Florida. When a mass was found on my kidney, naturally I thought to have it removed where I live. I could return home, sleep in my own bed comfortably while recuperating. However, after doing my research I found Dr Stifelman and there was no doubt I had to have him as my doctor. And I was absolutely correct. From the first tele appointment to his discharging me and sending me back to Florida, my experience was amazing. His staff is efficient, kind, and understanding, from those who run the office to the surgical support. And there aren’t enough accolades and positive adjectives to describe Doctor Stifelman. Throughout he was attentive, informative and reassuring. Post surgery he even came to see me at 10:30 PM!! He is definitely THE MAN to have in your corner.

I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer in Feb, 2020. After a referral to Dr. Stifelman, he performed robotic surgery at the end of May, 2020, in the midst of Covid, to remove my prostate. From the very first contact with the HUMC Urology Dept, I found a very caring and professional group of people. After initially assuming the worst, it's now a year later and all is good. Dr. Stifelman is not only a very experienced and top notch surgeon, but a fine person who listens to your concerns. Dr. Stifelman, his PA Suzannah Sorin and his entire team are the best. They saved my life. What more can be said?

Getting a Cancer diagnosis was tough, however the care I was provided by Dr. Stifelman and the staff at Hackensack University Medical Center was second to none. Everything went exactly how Dr. Stifelman explained it to me. The staff had great bedside manner and was always checking in on me to see how I was doing. Dr. Stifelman is a very professional, caring and compassionate surgeon who is well renowned & who truly cares more about his patients than just operating, if there is no need to do surgery at this time. He takes time to explain the test results and procedures, and you never feel rushed. My husband has been his patient for a year now, and today I was thrilled to meet him. I know my husband is with one of the best urologist/surgeon’s at HUMC! It was an honor meeting him, and he even took the time to recommend a doctor for my problem.
