DR Sweeney is very thorough. & personable.

Communication to Dr. Sweeney from other doctors were disregarded or ignored. When I asked about specific documents the staff nurses denied ever receiving them. When I took physical copies of the actual documents to the office, the office manager refused to make copies. I've found a new practice.

After bugging my boyfriend for a year, I finally got him to go to a doctor. He was having coronary artery disease symptoms. He was put on hypertension medication but not referred to cardiology. I kept trying to get him to see a cardiologist. He would just state that the doctor says I just need this blood oressure medication. A year later he had a STEMI, a full code, and six days in the hospital. I watched him die on the ED bed before they shocked him back to life. Find someone else (unless you hate your partner and want him to die).

Dr. Sweeney is my Primary Physician. When I visit him, I find that he has read my records before entering the office for the exam. He has read reports from other Physicians that treat me and has good overall understanding before examining me and recommending further action.

I'm new to Delaware and was recommended to Dr. Sweeney by a co-worker. I thought he was excellent. Listened to my issues and acted upon them. Reviewed my overall health and made appropriate suggestions. Very pleased with him and his office staff.

Doctor Sweeney spent enough time to get to know my medical needs. His staff does preliminary tests and he follows up and explains what he finds with any health issues he found or you want explained. He is concerned about his clients health and wants he clients to be healthy.

Dr. Sweeney has been there for my family like no other. His calm, logical approach to treatment is refreshing. He doesn't just jump right into throwing meds at you and moving you through. He cares. I'll continue seeing him as my primary care physician until he retires.
