A great doctor say 15 years plus with him.
I have used Dr. Tambor since he was new in practice.. at least 15 years. I recently lost him as he left Everett Clinic. I have seen three Drs in his stead and the third one seems like a good doc. Dr Tambor is quiet and reserved but I can assure you he is listening. He always told me what I needed to know, kept perfect records and was very conscience in managing my Thyroid cancer and aftermath over the last 13 years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tamber for nearly 2 years and have nothing but good experiences with him and his team. They always treat me with respect and take the time to answer my questions and explain the "Why" behind treatment recommendations.

Dr. Tamber works closely with me to manage my critical hypothyroidism. He responds to my emails and requests promptly, generally the same day. I am extremely pleased with his care and advice. I had to go out of town to find a competent endocrinologist for my condition. We've been able to handle my care through e-mails and blood tests and only one face-to-face visit a year. I highly recommend Dr. Tamber who is competent and a pleasure to work with.

Three members of my family, including myself have been patients of Dr. Tamber and all have left his practice. He does not listen, will not take into consideration what you have to say about how you are feeling. He is short in his appointments, leaving you feeling that he just needs to stay on schedule.

I saw Dr. Tamber for over a year and had nothing but trouble. He will not speak to patients by phone and it is often impossible to schedule an office visit in a reasonable period of time. He also will not talk to insurance or go to bat for patients in any way, even for medication he prescribes. VERY disappointing. I know the area does not have many endocrinologists, but you will do better elsewhere. Office staff is rude and not helpful.

I have been to Dr. Tamber and in my opinion he is not the doctor to go to if you want a doctor who is willing to go the extra mile. In my opinion he just wants to get you out of his office as soon as possible. I have worked in a hospital lab and in my opinion he needs to listen more be more helpful.
