Inattentive, disorganized, incompetent
We had a miserable experience with Dr. Traynor while trying to get pregnant. He was often distracted, indifferent, and had no follow-up. I wouldn't hire him to be a janitor, much less a doctor.

Dr. Traynor has been my Dr for over 15 yrs. I have been so happy with him since I was accepted as his patient. I’ve never had any issues with him and he’s always has been concerned about how I feel about my body and health. I’ve never wanted to lose him being my obgyn dr.

Thorough
Telehealth
I met Dr Traynor for a consult about a hysterectomy due to chronic pelvic pain. During our appointments he was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. When I got anxious and almost cancel my hysterectomy he didn't make me feel bad just listened and explained things some more. I went through with the hysterectomy and have to say his bedside manner was great (from what I remember lol) He is very quick to respond to emails as well. Great doctor

Dr Traynor provided excellent care for the week I was admitted at KP Sunnyside. He consulted daily on my care, including me in discussions from his team, and decision regarding ongoing care. He was compassionate when I was emotional, answer questions without hesitation and listened to my concerns. I continue to have confidence in his ability to treat with his skills and expertise.

I felt so lucky that Dr. Traynor was on call when I needed emergency surgery. He was so thorough and attentive. He explained things in a way that my husband and I could understand and had such a positive attitude. He was very respected by the rest of the staff who all spoke highly of him and I felt very well taken care of.

I was a very difficult case, refused from other MDs for surgery, with lots of possible surgical complications, Dr Traynor performed a wonderful surgery, no complications, least possible blood loss and perfect outcome. Outstanding knowledge, technique, and very professional. The best!

Great in the operating room, terrible for everything else. Ignores emails, does not follow through with tests he says he'll order or with questions you've asked, sometimes congenial and sometimes barely makes eye contact. Does answer all questions but does not listen closely to your answers.

Didn't listen, shut me down on multiple occasions, in a hurry to get to next patient. He made me feel dumb when I made a simple request for a lab.. He acted like a know it all. I think I know my body better than he does! The requested lab wasn't even his specialty, I wanted a simple blood test done because I couldn't see my PCP for 2 weeks and I knew my thyroid levels were off. I told him how miserable I was and he didn't even care... I'll be seeing another Obgyn next time.
