Dr. Michael Troiano is nothing short of a miracle worker. After applying a CBD ointment to the bottoms of both my feet, I woke up to severe burns that caused the skin to peel off. Initially, I worked with a wound care center near my home in New Jersey, but I wasn’t seeing any progress. Then, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Troiano through the University of Pennsylvania. From the very beginning, Dr. Troiano took the time to answer all of my questions, explain the procedures in detail, and offer multiple treatment options. His expertise, wisdom, and dedication ultimately saved my legs. If it weren’t for him, I would have had both legs amputated. Thanks to his hard work, I’m able to walk again today. I can’t thank Dr. Troiano, Kelly, and the entire team enough. They truly went above and beyond. If you’re dealing with a wound or foot issue, don’t waste your time going anywhere else. The best care is right here.

Best Podiatrist in Philadelphia
I had an injury that left me with a foot that never healed properly. I saw multiple doctors who said there was nothing to do except manage the condition. Dr Troiano knew exactly what to do and performed a surgery that finally fixed my foot. I will always be extremely grateful to him. Could not recommend him more.

Excellent doctor who saved my foot
I saw him for wound care at Penn Presbyterian and received excellent care. He is very easy to communicate with if I had a question. I had been having trouble with my foot for a year and he was able to correctly diagnose the issue & get me on the right path on the first visit.

Dr. Troiano is amazing. I had to go to multiple doctors to fix my broken fibula with no positive outcome, and he was finally able to surgically fix it for good. He is super clear and communicative as well. Highly recommend!

Dr. Troiano is the only podiatrist I trust around my feet, especially when it comes to surgery. After three previous surgeries all related to a bunionectomy by a local podiatrist, I sought out Dr. Troiano after high recommendations from patients of the practice. In the 4 years since surgery, not a single pain, ache or problem in that foot at all! As a distance runner, this has been life changing. He knows exactly what he is talking about and I trust him 100%. I HIGHLY recommend him and have to friends and family. He truly saved my botched surgery foot and I accredit my ability to run 50-60 miles a week to him. Best out there.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Troiano! I had a fluke achilles injury and after visiting multiple different podiatrists who were unable to help, Dr. Troiano performed a surgery that got me up on my feet again and feeling much better. He was very helpful with all follow up appointments as well and I was grateful to have him as a podiatrist!

Dr. Troiano is amazing - it’s old fashioned medicine- where your doctor actually cares about you! I broke my foot a year ago. I kept telling my orthopedic doctor that something wasn’t right - that my ankle hurt more than the broken bone. I got a lot of “there there, you’ll be fine.” After months of no improvement I finally went to see Dr. T who LISTENED to me and was able to quickly order the right tests and diagnose my problem!

I was recommended to Dr. Troiano for a second opinion on surgery that left me with extreme pain and deformities. Dr. Troiano successfully performed the corrective surgery and has helped me regain my life. He remains readily available to address any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Troiano, he performed Triple Arthrodesis surgery on my foot - he took the time to explain the procedure, the recovery, post-op care and answer all of our questions. We never felt rushed in his office pre or post surgery.

This is the worst Podiatrist in Philadelphia, if not the entire state of PA. If I could give this "doctor" a zero, that is exactly what he would get. He was rude and condescending. His attitude was self-important and he spoke poorly about my treating physician. I would NEVER recommend any patient to go see him, unless you enjoy being insulted and demeaned. STAY AWAY!!!!

I have been under his care almost 2yrs now. He did surgery #6, Dec 2018. It was his 2nd surgery on me. I had an injury July 2007 that is a lifelong condition now. DrTroiano is extremely skilled in his craft! He is empathetic, compassionate and very caring towards his patients. We are far more than just a name on a chart. We are "his" patients and we matter to him. There has never been an email, text or phonecall not returned. He makes himself available to all under his care. He's the best..

Dr Troiano was extremely helpful with the surgery on my daughter's broken ankle and again when my other daughter broke her foot (apparently my girls have glass bones). He was also very responsive to the many questions from us about progress and when the girls could start playing their respective sports again. I would recommend him again without hesitation.

Dr. Troiano is an excellent podiatrist. His patient handling and overall bedside manner allowed me to feel confident about my upcoming surgery. Post-surgery, he made himself available for any issues that came up (specifically around pain for me). His follow ups and ensuring that my progress was as expected has been great. Highly recommended if you are in need of foot surgery!
