He has been a wonderful eye doctor and will be missed greatly. My husband and I have been going to Dr Tschoepe for about 20 years. We are very grateful to him for taking such good care of us.

Dr. Tschoepe is exceptional. I'd estimate that we've been seeing him for about 25 years and have always had the best care. He is pro-active in alerting us to our eye conditions, and we have the utmost trust with his judgment. He has performed cataract surgery on one of us and let us know that only one eye was ready for surgery at that time. We also are pleased with his office staff; we've learned to know several of them by name. We truly will miss him but wish him well on his retirement.

Dr. Tschoepe's doom and gloom prognosis - overturned by 3 other doctors - was depressing and inaccurate. Additionally, he offered up some Bible verses that were wildly inappropriate and also inaccurate to the situation. The sky was not falling - but you never would have known that from Dr. Tschoepe's diagnosis.

I had cataracts surgery in 2012 by another doctor in another town and it was great to see again in the one eye that was bad enough to fix. This year, the other eye was bad enough and I had moved to New Braunfels and met with Dr. Tschoepe. He recommended a new lens that would fix my issue with the cataract and astigmatism. I can now see 20/20 distance and with a cheap pair of cheaters, 20/20 reading. What an improvement!
