Dr. Michael Underwood, MD

I wouldnt even give dr. Underwood one star. The first appointment I had he was extremely rude and wouldnt listen to any of my concerns about what was wrong with me. He looked at me like I was speaking Japanese. Definitely a trip wasted. I dont know why I ever went back but I told him I found a deer tick on me and I thought I most likely had lyme disease. I explained all of my symptoms and how lousy I was feeling. These were also the exact symptoms that someone with lyme disease would have. I requested a blood test for lyme. He said he did not think that it was likely I had lyme disease and he would not write an order for the bloodwork. He said believe me youd know if you had it. I asked him what does he think Im trying to tell him then and how terrible I was feeling physically. Anyhow 6 months later I was getting very sick. I went to a walk in and explained my symptoms and how I found a tick on my stomach. They filled out an order to get tested immediately. I got a call that I was positive for lyme and needed antibiotics immediately. I was really sick and I still am not normal. I will in fact probably never be quite the same. The other dr said that if I got tested when I requested it 6 months earlier it would have made a world of difference. Yes I should have probably gone to another dr as soon as that happened but he is supposed to be a professional and I thought I could trust him. Very unpleasant and sad experience.

Dr Underwood is thorough, and efficient. He is comfortable to talk to, supportive in addressing concerns and calm in demeanor. I have health related anxiety and have always felt very much in good hands with him as my doctor.

Truly excellent physician. Takes the time to listen, explains well, and doesn't over-prescribe. Best Doctor I've ever had.

Rude way of speaking to patient. Not personable at all

well Dr Underwood has been my pcp for the last 20 years he takes time with me explains things so that I understand I’m very happy with dr Underwood
