Very Competent and Supportive
Dr. Verni performed the HIFU procedure for prostate cancer in July 2021 and March 2023. In both instances, he proved to be very competent and supportive during the pre-treatment, treatment and post-treatment phases. He was very straightforward and clear with his explanation of the process and was readily available to address any of my concerns. I am most satisfied with his treatment and would recommend him to anyone with any problems of the prostate.

Front office staff is terrible and rude!
I made an appointment several weeks ago and showed up early to my appointment only to find they had cancelled it. I had taken time off work for this appointment and their level of respect and concern is 0. The front office staff was beyond rude. My primary care physician had referred me here. I will be letting him know not to refer any more patients to this office.

Treatment of Patient by Office Manager/Staff
1st off: I NEVER saw Dr. Michael Verni. This review is in regards to the Dr.'s office manager Angelic: I was appalled in the way she spoke to me, with no respect what so ever, & yelling at me. I was told by her to, and I quote "find another doctor as well as change my health coverage because she WAS NOT going to contact my provider every time I would need a procedure, not even knowing what the future holds with my treatment, her & her staff were too busy to do that!!" She would not let me see Dr. Verni and cancelled my appointment while I was standing there right in front of her that was scheduled 2 weeks prior and was APPROVED by insurance for payment to them. I have seen probably a total of 6 other X-Ray/MRI facilities, physicians, surgeons, & physical therapists and none of them had aany problems or issues with my provider. It was a very unpleasant experience, and she (Angelic) was extremely unprofessional, nasty and downright rude.

Went here for an evaluation, upon entering the office and going to front of clinic to check in for appt. women who identify as supervisor demanded ID and insurance, no politeness or even sincerity. Upon hearing this I remind her that I respond better to please and thank you. At this point she became a unfriendly supervisor and told me if I’m offended that I didn’t need to establish as a patient. At this point she basically told me to get out of her practice and leave. Words were addressed and she took the attitude of we don’t need your business and leave. Never in my wildest experiences with offices and doctors have I been treated so rudely and condescending by some RN. Called back to talk to office manager and you guessed it all of a sudden she’s the office manager and went and told the date her side. Please don’t know anything about the dctr except he one of a few dctrs that do a specific procedures, but based on office staff and Manners! I would pass on this practice!!!!

If you have a large prostate (BPH) and have difficulty urinating--Dr. Verni is the person you should see. The surgery, called TURP that he performed on me was flawless--no infection followed and I am now peeing again like a teenager(and I'm 78 years old). His staff and assistants are also doing their jobs with professionalism. I could not say more.

I have been a patient of Dr Verni for about 18 months. Dr Verni has solved two problems(recurrent prostate cancer; 5cm mass on my left kidney) without surgery( radiation therapy and embolism of left real arteries). I recommend him and I will continue using his services. I found his staff to effective and efficient.....in other words...things get done and there is good feed back I am 79 and have had urology problems since age 3. I have had 8 urologists and I rate Dr Verni in the top 2

I highly recommend Dr. Verni! I went to two different urologists before finding Dr. Verni and getting the proper treatment. He is hands down one of the best and most highly competent doctors I’ve had in my life! If you are worried about a little wait, he is definitely worth the wait. He takes the time to give individual care to his patients and never made me feel rushed! He is the best urologist you’ll find in Nevada!

First time i went to Dr Verni it took two hours to see him and when i asked they said sometimes he’s on call for surgery in the hospital. Second time i went, there were only two patients outside waiting. I got in fast, i was put in the room to wait for the dr and it took 1 hr for the dr to come to the room. When i finally saw him, he said there’s nothing he can do. There was never a supporting treatment offered or any care whatsoever. One of the worst dr I’ve ever seen, shouldn’t be in practic

Solved Years of Kidney Stone Problems - misdiagnosed at the Centennial Hills ER. Also one of the very few Doctors trained in Las Vegas in the Urolift Procedure (as opposed to needing a major Prostate Surgery). The weakest part is bedside manner, however I'd much rather have highly competent. Great total female staff that has been efficient and highly competent.

CAUTION! Make an appointment with this guy at your own risk. I was new patient on first appointment. Waited in exam room for an hour and half past appointment time. Unacceptable! Complete arrogance and disrespect for patient's schedule and time.

After years of issues, Dr Verni found the "root cause" of my problem. Had TURP surgery, outpatient. He explained everything to us and answered all questions. He is professional and direct. I like him and his staff members. We have no complaints about anything.

I asked that they leave everything in except for portion of prostate that was not affected. he said that he would do his best. He took everything in the area leaving me with erection problems and resulting marriage problems. Also left me with huge scar that makes my stomach appear to have two bellybuttons. When I complained he said it would heal over time.....no way. With regards to erection, he gives me a pump. Has assistant perform procedures such as remove cathader.
