Dr Wemhoff is a fantastic surgeon. He took all the time I needed to educate me on my condition and prepare me for a decision on surgery. He is kind, highly skilled, and changed my life with the results of my surgery.

A wonderful surgeon
Both my husband and I have had surgeries with Dr. Wemhoff. All three experiences were made easier by Dr. Wemhoff’s surgical skill and patient support. He is extremely kind and answers any question with an answer that is understandable and thorough. We never left him without a complete understanding of procedure, recovery and expectations.

Dr Wemhoff prepared me for surgery and the results of fusing and decompression of C3 thru C6. Over 75 percent of my pain and issues were dealt with the surgery. OT and PT took care of more. I am walking to the the plane tomorrow with minimal pain. I was in a wheelchair arriving in May. My injections were done last week by Dr Ryan Unger Fox Valley Orthopedic. Dr Huong could not see me until November and we return to Naples this week 5 stars for Dr Wemhoff!

Dr. Wemhoff is a fantastic neurosurgeon! He completed a dual disc replacement for me in November 2021 and both his informative approach and bedside manner were exceptional. It is worth noting that I went in looking for this same surgery about 2 years back and he turned me away due to not having a clear indication of where my symptoms were coming from. He was patient and suggested that the MRI may have been delayed too much to see the true cause of my issues, but didn't want to go in unless he was sure. I was upset, but saw the logic of his recommendation. This attitude made it easy to trust him when he came back later with the recommendation.

Broke my back in April 2019, Dr. Wemhoff was the on call neurosurgeon, I was seen by his team and admitted for emergency surgery. Before surgery I was unable to urinate and had trouble standing. After surgery I was able too urinate on my own and although very weak with help able too walk. Required a 2nd surgery 6was later bone graph and 2nd spinal fusion. After 4 weeks in rehab and 5 months in a brace I'm now walking with just a cane hopefully will be able too get rid of the cane soon. Dr. Wemhoff was wonderful to me and too my family.

Dr. Wemhoff was the perfect doctor. His bedside manner was excellent. One of the nurses and recovery however, was very rude.

Initial visit was very business like and to the point. The next time we met was before surgery. Dr. Wemhoff's team is fairly large, and by seeing a lot of different people, a scorecard would be handy to keep track of all the people coming in and out of my room. Nobody was there longer than 2 minutes, but it seemed like 6 or 7 groups at different times during the day.
