Dr. Michael Wigton, MD

Based on my experience, please do not see Dr. Wigton or his team for anything revolving around fractures unless you are sure of undergoing surgery.I tried going to Beacon for my fractured pinky and was directed to Dr. Wigton. I received only a few glances at my hand by Wigton in two separate visits, both of which lasted no more than a few minutes. When I decided I was going to take the incredibly broad and brief advice from those few minutes of trying to let my hand just heal on its own, I was incredibly displeased. Terrible demeanor and explanations. A few months later, with my pinky still in a poor state, I was sent a bill for over $615. After spending months trying to call and straighten out what I had thought was an obvious mistake, I was told repeatedly that Dr. Wigton had input a surgery charge code for “treatment without manipulation” and “treatment plan” that was never disclosed to me. After multiple calls they have not revoked the charges and my pinky is nowhere near better.

Recently had wrist surgery from Dr Wigton. Friendly, caring and professional. Would highly recommend. Beacon Ortho Surgicial Center first class.
