Dr. Michael Xu, MD

He ordered tests that may not have been necessary. Physical therapy visited where suggested, at home care, then outpatient care, then inpatient care…none of which was needed. He ordered Speech Therapy for why I have no idea. I was having Blood Sugar tests and when I asked staff why, they said oh we don’t need that any more. He continued to order fluids even when my labs were well within range and my whole body was painfully swollen! We had to beg to be moved from S. I.C.U. to a regular patient room. My Medical Oncologist had ordered the IV ports removed and that as far as he was concerned, I could be discharged. Tho my labs were within acceptable range, Dr. Xu ordered additional fluids. I asked to speak with him and he never mentioned the additional order.

Dr. Xu saw my husband 2 times in 4 days in the hospital. He would never call our primary care doctor back and we needed him to have additional life saving medicines added. Would not recommend this Doctor.
