Dr. Michael Yang, MD

Dr. Yang at Liberty Eye Center treated my 74 yr old husband for 4th nerve palsy and subsequent double vision. He was extremely thorough, responsive and took lots of time with us at multiple visits, answering every question and double checking all findings. We were never rushed. He performed strabismus surgery, and my husband has had fantastic results. As we came to find out, the outcome of this type of surgery relies on not only excellent clinical measurements and testing but also finely tuned tactile expertise to get the amount of muscle tacking just right. Dr. Yang is truly gifted and we are grateful for his empathy and skill. Contrary to listings on the internet, Dr. Yang is accepting new patients and his office is at Liberty Eye Center.

By far the worst doctor I have ever seen. He is arrogant and no bed side manner. He was also 100% wrong about my son. My son was six months old and he had the audacity to tell us that our son was blind and that he has only been wrong one time in his career. We had to sit in the office for HOURS before we were seen them he got inpatient with us because my son was fussy since it was feeding time. I would NEVER recommend and would give him 0 stars if I could.

We’ve seen Dr Yang since our son was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts and he’s been such a blessing through the process of several surgeries now. He’s personable and takes the time to hear and answer your concerns. We adore him. We highly recommend him to everyone needing a opthlamologist.

He barely tried to get my infant son to track objects before declaring him completely blind. Even after saying his eye was undamaged, he just shrugged off that he must have brain damage preventing him from seeing. My son passed his newborn vision screen. He tracks objects if you take the time to get him interested first. I know my son has vision issues, but he also has some sight. I came to help him see as much as possible, not to have him shrugged off as unhelpable after a very brief exam.
