Dr Gottlieb was rude and unhelpful. We wasted a lot of time going to this appointment. I did think the staff was quite good.

Surprised at the poor reviews
I see so many poor reviews; I am quite surprised. I have been seeing Dr Gottleib for years and I find her very knowledgeable and kind. I also went for a second opinion elsewhere and felt Dr. Gottleib was much more caring than another location.

Honestly I am surprised to see poor reviews about Dr Gottlieb because my experience with her was really great. I had never been to an allergist before but have suffered with allergies my whole life. I felt comfortable, validated, and she was just generally pleasant and nice to be around. She was friendly and funny. I had allergy testing done which took a while but never felt rushed. She offered allergy shot treatment but I didn't feel pressured or anything. I would definitely recommend her.

I read the negative reviews before being treated by Dr. Gottlieb, but did not listen to the poor feedback from previous patients. The first visit she appeared very understanding, empathetic, and gave me a treatment plan I did not ask for. Everything seemed great, I was super excited for being able to deal with my chronic illness. She did not follow through with the procedure she laid out to treat my condition. When contacting her I had to go into the office to get another dose. I had no problem with this but she initially said this would not be necessary that just to let her know when I took what was called in for me. I have been sick multiple times since. Last couple times reaching out to her I was either ignored or told to reach out to my general care practitioner, and told she is a specialist and doesn’t take short term appointments. Problem is she told me to contact her when I got sick, but when I did I got reprimanded, and was told to contact my regular doctor. Beware!

Beware of allergists who wear perfume! I recommend finding a different allergist. I found Dr. Gottlieb to be boastful, overly-confident, and lacking empathy. If a person doesn't want to help people with proven health concerns, she shouldn't become a doctor. I have quite a few other allergists I've seen over my lifetime, so I know what a good allergist is.

Dr said being on allergy medications did not alter blood test results for allergies. When tests came back as '0' despite prior severe reactions, I was told I no longer had any reason to see her. 2 months later I got stung by a bee and had anaphylactic reaction. Thankfully I still carried my epipen. New dr told me immediatly that the prior tests were invalid as I had been taking allergy meds when they were done. New tests were done after 2 weeks off allergy meds and confirmed severe allergies.
