Dr. Michele Morgan, MD

My husband was diagnosed with ALS in 2020. After he had all the tests and we have the final appointment with her we were shocked at her lack of empathy. Basically it was just you have ALS, goodbye now. Very sad experience.

would not recommend Dr. Morgan. She does not seem to know what she is doing and how do diagnose your problem.

Dr Morgan is your worst nightmare as a patient. If your neurological disease causes symptoms she does not understand, she will refuse to think for herself about how to help you. She will give you a list of familiar things she can treat and ask which one you like. When you point out all the documented reasons why those explanations don’t make sense, she will literally toss up her hands and say, angrily, “what do you want me to do?”. When you tell her you’ve got other doctors looking to her to advise them on management of your neurological disease - she will shake her head and say “no”, angrily. She will not ask about the nature of your pain. She will not contribute to your medical team. She will not express the slightest bit of compassion about your pain or disability. Dr Morgan should not be practicing medicine.

The original visit was fine. But she does not talk respectfully to her patients. I try to be actively involved in my care but apparently lay people shouldn't do so.

Seems to be a great doctor!! Took time to listen to what I had to say. Seemed genuinely concerned about my condition. I would highly recommend her.

Really liked her. Kind, knowledgable and took her time.
