Rude, dismissive, out dated
I had an appointment for my seizures, and told her exactly what happens and me having seizure euphoria before they come on and this old lady said in her years of practice she hasn’t heard of that and that I don’t have seizures, it just sounds like pots… however a quick google search, Epileptic auras, generally speaking, last from a few seconds up to usually 20 to 30 seconds but to a maximum of about 2 to 3 minutes. Thereafter, the seizure may or may not evolve into loss of consciousness and a generalized tonic–clonic seizure. In contrast to the seizures, most auras of seizures generally are unpleasant, including feelings of anxiety and fear (60%) as well as depression. A quick google search… I had to sadly do my ownnn research for my health and found google to be more helpful in the two minutes it took to find it, then she was in the hour session we had. She didn’t give eye contact, used a whole bunch of big words to make herself sound professional and still left without help

Don’t waste your time!
After many X-rays and scans she apparently diagnosed the problem but when we met with her to discuss her findings she never looked up at us once. No dialogue and she did not tell us he had a serious terminal illness. . We had to find out by accident from another doctor who was reviewing the file. This is a warning to anyone who needs help. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Offered me absolutely no information of substance with regard to trying to pin down an elusive diagnosis. Dismissive of my explanations of my rare pre-existing condition, she basically gave word salad for 15 minutes before telling me I should see a cardiologist. For cervical neck pain. Honestly I would’ve gotten better advice from the post office. The picture she uses is about 30 years old, so you’ll be very surprised.

1st visit waited over an hour...2nd visit waited 45 minutes and left without being seen. How long would Doctors wait if they had an appointment with us mere mortals? You already know the answer.

The worst encounter I have ever had with a doctor. I was referred to her by another doctor who recommended a neurological exam. She wanted to know why they sent me to her and acted quite bothered. Never used my name or made eye contact and was rude and dismissive. After a 45 minute wait in the exam room and 10 minutes spent with me, she walked out of the room without a word to indicate the visit was over. I have been to numerous doctors over years and have never been treated so poorly. Just a horrible experience.

Extremely Dissatisfied – Dec 04, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Ofner?
Dr. Ofner had a 4th year medical student do the evaluation. After her evaluation she said Dr. Ofner would be right in. I had to ask a nurse in the hall to find her. After 1/2 house she came in and said she doesn't deal with my issues. She was recommended by Dr. Kane. I was charged a 35 co-payment. This was the worst medical experience I have ever had.

Spent 90% of visit typing. No eye contact. No technical, electronic or mechanical nerve conduction testing done or scheduled. Instead of the shot in the back of my head, she gave me 3 and tried to force a fourth one on me in spite of my crying from the excruciating pain. Her nurse was just as bad. Dismissive, curt, and rude applies to both of them. Zero for bedside manners. DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AWAY. I would give zero stars if allowed.

It was an awful experience. Avoid at all costs. I have seen VERY many drs in my 62 yrs and this one ranks as one of the worst. I consider myself a well educated and experienced patient dealing with many complex medical issues. From the get go she was Rude, dismissive, wouldn't listen, had the compassion of a stone. I am truly still shocked. And I waited over an hour for her to grace me with her presence. What a treat. Very disappointed.

Dr Ofner was TERRIBLE!!!! I came in as a follow up from being admitted to the hospital for STROKE symptoms which now we know was a hemiplegic migraine. "If your symptoms are getting better why are you even concerned?" Outside the door she was laughing making fun of me to the CNA very loudly "we will just let MAYO figure this one out. She sounds like a trainwreck anyways with all these symptoms" The door was still open... and I had not even met her yet!!! The entire time she was rude, disresp

HORRIBLE doctor. This was the worst experience in a doctor's office I have ever had! She seemed completely annoyed by my presence and dismissive. She acted as if I should not even be there "if it's not interfering with your job." (She even interrogated me about my job as if I was lying to her and was condescending about it.) Even though this was the first (AND ONLY) time I had met her, she was rude about my choice to continue to nurse my 13 month old baby. LONG WAIT IN WAITING ROOM TOO!

Poor office manner - generally assumptive, dismissive, pre-concieved notions with an inflexible and demeaning attitude. Every individual is a human being first - they deserve to be treated as such.

Worst doctor EVER! Was having a good day with a pain level of 3. During her evaluation, she hurt my back further, increasing my pain level to 9. She showed no emotion or concern when my back pain increased, did not ask any questions about where my pain increased and refused to allow me a minute to collect my thoughts. I have no idea what she told me options were as the pain had been blinding and I could not concentrate. I left barely able to walk and will not be returning to this inhumane doctor

She walked into the room with boxing gloves on. And made assumptions about what I would and wouldn't do before I even mentioned anything about that topic. Her office told me no pain is normal but she told me I was going to have to live with it. And on the first and now only visit, she felt it was her duty to tell me things that I needed to hear. This was easily one of the worst experiences with doctors I have ever had. She almost made me cry multiple times, avoid going to her at all costs.

Dr. Ofner listens to my issues and has laid out a plan for alieving my pain and discomfort. We've been working on this plan for many months and step by step I am finding more relief. She runs a tight schedule but yet spends the right amount of time with me working on the plan.
