Dr. Michelle Becnel, MD

I was referred to her as my endocrinologist from my obgyn due to PCOS. She was very informative, didn’t rush, answered every question I’ve had. If anyone needs an endocrinologist see Dr. Becnel

Dr. Becnel has been my primary care physician for almost 9 years. I have never had a PCP who cares about her patients like she does. Easy to communicate with, doesn’t make you feel rushed, is compassionate and respectful. She’s so good it takes months to get an appointment, but if it’s urgent, she finds a way to work you into the clinic or follows you closely through her NP.

I’ve been seeing Dr Becnel for over two years, and have come to find she provides excellent care to her clients here within the Baton Rouge area. She is thorough with the different considerations a person might have involving the needs of their care. She also frequently asks the relevant questions pertaining to the administration of that person’s care. She takes the time to get to know her clients and does very well all around with regards to providing the different types of primary care that might involve the clients needs. She is a Doctor that excels in her provision of healthcare and is definitely recommended.

Dr Becnel is very personable and made me feel very comfortable. She took time to listen and is very down to earth. She’s very knowledgable and appears to use a common sense approach to address treatments. I hope she’s my Dr forever.

She is excellent.She listens and has a wonderful presence and responds quickly with any questions. I highly recommend her as a primary care doctor.

I really like my doctor. She listen, very people patient oriented, pleasant, polite & concern about my well being. I can go on & on about her greatness, but most of all she is a doctor who care. This something you can’t find in a lot of the young doctors today. Most of all she is knowledgeable to old & modern medicine. What else can I say except thank you for having her on your team to care for my health!

I recently moved here from out of state. My previous PCP doc was very caring, and never rushed me through an appointment. I was so hesitant to get a new PCP because I was sure I wold be disappointed. Once I saw Dr. Becnel, I knew I was with the right doc. She is kind, caring, and professional. She did not rush me through my appointment; rather she spent time asking pertinent questions making sure I had appointments to specialists before I left. Would definitely recommend Dr. Michelle Becnel.

She is amazing. She is devoted to her patients and truly wants to help. I have struggled in the past finding great doctors that I trust. She gained my trust instantly and she immediately started trying to figure out what she could do to make my quality of life better.

Dr. Becnel is absolutely wonderful. She listens well and cares about what you are saying. She addresses all issues and sets up things like X- rays,scans, etc. It’s obvious that she’s extremely smart and knows what she’s doing, but she never talks down to you or makes you feel inferior. And to top it off…she has a beautiful smile and uses it often. I highly recommend Dr. Becnel! ??

Dr. Becnel is a great doctor. She explains conditions very well, provides you with the right options for care, is very personable, treats you with respect, and always seems to have a smile on her face. I highly recommend her to anyone searching for a good primary care physician that will provide you with excellent care, while being knowledgeable in their field at the same time.
