Dr. Michelle Cohen, MD

Dr. Cohen is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to obtain a thorough understanding of my history and medical issues. She offered sound advice and I definitely plan to use her in the future as well as recommend her to others.

5 Stars, she made me feel at ease, I was confident that whatever she did would be perfect, I was impressed at how smooth she handled everything, from the time I met her prior to the procedure, the professionalism and command in the OR, totally in control, her relationship with the anesthesiologist and the after-procedure meeting.I would blindly recommend working with her.

First visit with Dr. Cohen was via Zoom.; she was extremely easy to talk with. Very knowledgeable, concerned and helpful in suggesting both solutions and possible next steps. I was very impressed and pleased to have found her.

Dr. Cohen was very attentive and patient. She listened to all of my Gastro problems, as well as the measures that I had taken to alleviate them. She gave me her best possible recommendation and course of treatment. I felt very comfortable and unrushed in talking with her. And, I felt very comfortable with her explaination of available treatment options and why other testing and screening procedures were unnecessary at this time. I trust her medical competence and judgement. this was my first visit with her, and overall, a very positive experience.

I had to wait 5 months for an appointment. Dr. Cohen was annoyed that her appointment with me interrupted something else she was doing. I'd waited alone in an exam room for 30 minutes.....

Interested and a good listener

I have had both telehealth and in person appointments. Dr,. Cohen listens and is easy to talk to. She is thorough, clear, practical. And her assistants and my internists' assistants coordinated in an amazing way that helped me with my symptoms before they quickly scheduled an appointment, Amazing.

My first two encounters with Dr Cohen, culminating in an endoscopy, went fine. She was friendly and helpful. However it took way too long to get a follow-up - several months - and it went horribly. It was kind of a Jekyll-and-Hyde experience. She was impatient, rude and condescending - very like what a couple of other reviewers described. At one point, she literally made a face and rolled her eyes in response to one of my questions. I will not see her again.

Very positive experience. She listened patiently as this was my first visit. She was very intuitive and immediately understood my issues. She was very thorough and recommended a course that would most possibly eliminate my symptoms or at least lessen them.

I’ve had a few appointments with Dr. Cohen and find her to be incredibly dismissive and doesn’t seem to want to help. I had to push her to identify any potential causes and provide a treatment plan. As a woman, I’m used to doctors being dismissive of my symptoms, but i thought that by going to a woman doctor she would be more receptive. As a patient, I shouldn’t have to push her to take my health seriously and I find her behavior concerning. She seemed annoyed by my questions and frustrated that I was asking about my own health. I would never suggest seeing her if you want to get help.

Dr. Cohen did not rush, explained my situation calmly and clearly, and answered all of my questions understandably.
