The care I received during my procedure (PRK) was Professional, caring and always compassionate .Dr. Diaz kept me apprised during every step of the procedure of what was happing and why. I felt that I was in experienced hands that genuinely cared about my comfort.

I had cataract surgery, both eyes, 1 week apart. Did the Light Adjustable Lens. I was awake, with mild sedation, through both surgeries. From the beginning with check-in, eye drops, anesthesia, surgery and post-op, I was completely comfortable. The staff, anesthesiologist and Dr Diaz kept me informed step by step, including during the surgery. So happy to have had Dr Diaz as my surgeon.

Dr Diaz did my R cataract. The entire process went well and was a positive experience. I highly recommend. I used the St Johns office. Only "complaint" I have has nothing to do with the caregivers....I wish AEI didn't do all their paperwork at their office over by University Blvd.....nightmare area.

As someone who has been nearsighted my entire life, I have considered LASIK for decades but was always a little fearful of the procedure. I am so happy that I decided to have this surgery - the results have been nothing short of miraculous. Dr. Diaz and everyone else at Atlantic Eye Institute were fantastic - professional but friendly and considerate, and very thorough in explaining the procedure. I now have 20/ 15 vision and don't need glasses for either distance or up close reading. If you are considering LASIK I encourage you to contact Dr. Diaz right away - this is the best thing I have ever done for myself!

Their LASIK consultation is free and very helpful to determine if you are an eligible LASIK candidate. I visited all three clinics during my pre and post operation care. Each of my appointments were on-time and efficient with no wasted effort. They were diligent to check my vision about 10x during the whole process before the surgery. Their rates are very competitive in the marketplace. There were a total of 4 doctors in my surgery. Dr. Diaz even made a personal call to me on the evening after my surgery to check-in and ensure I was recovering as expected. They also offer financing options with no interest for up to 24 months. I'll have about 4 to 5 post-op appointments over the next 12 months to ensure I am totally satisfied with my LASIK outcome. I HIGHLY SUGGEST Atlantic Eye Institute!

First-time visit and eye exam with Dr. Diaz. I was very impressed with both technicians and Dr. Diaz. All very detailed specific and knowledgeable about my condition for type II diabetic eyes. All demonstrated high enthusiasm and professionalism during my exam. When selecting glasses the Optical Technician was most helpful with selection and cost explanation.
