She's kind and a great listener. She helped me and I highly recommend her.

She treated my daughter for 5 years & then just decided to drop her as a patient without any warning or explanation which is completely unprofessional.This woman told my daughter she loved her & hugged her every time they met which I have witnessed. It was a special relationship.My daughter thought the world of her & loved her back.Dropping her as a patient hurt her greatly & made her feel like she meant nothing to her for five years. She suffers from abandonment issues so thanks to Dr. K this just got worse. Dr.Kaplan knowlingly, as a doctor, knew how her hurtful actions would hurt her patient, a young woman, & she did it anyway. She could have at least explained why she was letting her go, maybe wish her well, give her a hug, provide some closure, literally anything that a kind,caring person would do. But NO she did NOTHING & she made my daughter feel like she was nothing to her. She is only kind to your face when you're paying her. She should be ashamed of herself. Karma is coming..

Having dealt with depression for several years, I have had some excellent psychiatrists. My previous psychiatrist (my doctor for 10 years) retired, so, I needed a new doctor. Dr Kaplan does not listen! She decided I was incorrectly diagnosed and made medication recommendations that worsened my symptoms. When I stopped taking due to side effects, she chastised me for not complying with HER treatment plan. Then she told me that my depression was not responsive to medication. (It had been responsive, with correct medication combination for over 20 years). She recommended either Electric Convulsant Therapy or TMS (magnetic therapy which requires 30-40 treatments before any noticeable improvement). Did I mention that her office advertises TMS? Clearly, seems more concerned about profits than patients! Hard to deal with a psychiatrist who lacks empathy and compassion. She is beyond terrible!

Imagine finally getting the courage to seek help and the Dr does everything in their power to not help. She was dismissive, often could not remember the dosage or medicine I was on. Late on many occasions, office staff was rude, and she lacked a professional demeanor. I had to do my own research on my medicine and she refused to do a gene sight test. She was insistent that I had a certain diagnosis and was prescribing me a cocktail of meds, that were not working. I later went to 3 other Dr's and they agreed, the meds she was prescribing were too strong and not for depression. If she would have just listened to me, instead of trying to get me out the door ASAP, I would not be on here writing this review.

Prescribed medicine for me, I called her office and left a msg to tell her a had a bad reaction to the meds.Someone called me back and as per the dr. and told me to double the amount.Also gave me another med. which I could not take after I read information on it bc I took other medicine and can’t take both

I really wasn't able to establish a rapport with the doctor. But that was the least of my problems. I had many difficulties getting Adderall prescriptions filled. Either the prescription wasn't written clearly, or they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy, or when the insurance company asked for a new prescription they did not fill it until I called the doctors office to remind them. Dr. Kaplan always seemed to be out of the office, so I had to wait till until the next day to get issues resolved. I spoke only with the assistant who then relayed messages to the doctor who then issued prescriptions via the assistant which invariably were not correct. On the positive side they were good about reminding me about telehealth appointments and they were not the worst doctor I've seen since my ADD diagnosis 2 years ago.

Dr. Kaplan was absolutely HORRIBLE. Stay away. She stopped prescribing me an anti depressant that I had been on for years. When I told her I was depressed, she told me to utilize the SUICIDE HOTLINE and would not listen to why I was depressed. She took pleasure in the fact I was struggling with life. She wanted to put me on an additional mood stabilizer when I was already taking two others. She judged me when I would open up about my life and she could seriously care less. I’m so happy I got out of there with the support from my family, friends, and psychotherapists. I’m now with a much better psychiatrist who actually knows what they’re doing.

Dr. Kaplan is very compassionate and sympathetic. She sincerely cared about alleviating my depression and asked a lot of probing questions to find a comprehensive solution including talk therapy and CBT. I wish her appointment's were longer that 30 minutes but I never felt rushed.

Dr. Kaplan was so easy to talk with and she was open and listened intently to my issues. She was very responsive to my call with a query and returned the calls by days end. I have recommended her to friends and they too were impressed.

I think she is amazing! She is very compassionate, and her goal is to get you where you need to be mentally to improve your quality of life. Appointments are 30 minutes and she never will make you feel rushed. She also will see you on emergencys if needed. Also she will work with your medications until she finds the right fit for your stability. I can't express how good she makes feel. I would recommend her highly!

after 1 month wait for the app. I got to office a little late because it was raining and address was confusing I tried calling many times but would be put on hold. When I got to office and explained the problem they brought out a form to sign with my info and double the $ of my copy when I asked why they said it's office fee. After 45 minutes I walked up to window and told them I wasn't given any forms to fill . Over 2 hours passed than they decided to tell me they have to reschedule me was late

Dr. Kaplan changed my life! Found out that my Primary Care Doctor had me on the wrong medications for 10 years! Could not figure out why I was so moody. 1 Visit to Dr. Kaplan changed everything. Changed my meds and I'm a new man!!! Feel as though I wasted 10 years of my life, but not wasting anymore.
