Dr. Betz Kuczma only wants the easy patients!
Dr. Betz Kuczma only wants the easy patients! She was not willing to go over my MRIs from NIH with me. She is the kind of MS neurologist that just wants to diagnose the new patients and put them on one of the DMT drugs for MS. These drugs harmed me and I will not take them. She doesn't know what else to do with real MS. My MRI showed growing brain lesions that NIH doesn't think is MS. Dr. Betz Kuczma would not help me understand what all this may mean. I think she may not know how to help me, but she is not honest enough to admit this.

Worst experience
I was referred to see this doctor. She seemed to be very interested initially in helping me with my condition but after the initial visit it was impossible to follow up with her for my care. She does not like to see patients and determine a proper treatment. Her staff do not care and will lie to you repeatedly saying that they will follow up with you. It takes a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks to get a response for anything and then they are rude and condescending. This is obviously a pattern based on other reviews. Sentara really needs to take action and hold this doctor accountable. When you are already sick you should not have to deal with these challenges.

Not good. She fired me as a patient since I asked too many questions. I made the practice feel like they couldn't meet my demands. I got a registered letter, not even a phone call. She dismissed EVERYTHING I had going on. If it didn't last 24 hours she didn't want to know about it. SO many other patients get treated for exacerbations and pain. I got nothing. Crying in pain from back problems made worse with MS and she wouldn't even give me a single mild pain killer. I ended up in bed for weeks,

I've been seeing Dr. Kuczma for 3 years. I have never had a problem with her at all. I know other people who see her through my personal recommendation and we all commend her and her office staff for their professionalism. I'm not a big fan of Ms.Boyd but Dr. Kuczma is wonderful & her ass't Tiffany is a dream.

Very rude and disrespectful. No empathy. Refused to sign Fit for duty form to get me back to work then refused to sign disability papers when I became unable to work. Actually yelled at me on the phone . I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER . Her PA A. BOYD AND DR KUZMA YELLED AT ME BECAUSE I SAW ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST FOR A SECOND OPINION

Have only seen doctor once due to her limited hours. Horribly lazy supporting staff won't allow a request to have doctor return my call. Totally agree with the other surveys! Ran out of MS med due to paperwork sitting on doctor's desk. STILL waiting for her to complete forms that have been sent to her TWICE. Staff doesn't have any sense; looking at someone else's chart while searching for MY information. Aren't concerned about patients who pay their salary! I'm changing to a professional ASAP!!!

These people are HORRIBLE! No one does their job. Dr. Kuczma is so disconnected from her patients. She assigns a new person every visit. Her assistant, Tiffany is rude and lazy. She does not do her job. None of them return calls. It takes weeks to get minor results. I would not recommend this office to ANYONE!

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Kuczma to family or friends. In fact the only recommendation I would give in regards to her is to NOT go and find a neurologist that cares for their patients. I initially went to her for headaches I was having, this quickly escalated into what became cancer but had to be diagnosed by someone more competent. She ran a blood test that read abnormal and she told me it was fine because it was only slightly elevated. She was very snooty and unprofessional. Go elsewhere!!
