Ulnar nerve transposition!
She was amazing! I had extreme pain in my left arm to the point I could hardly use my arm. She did ulnar nerve transposition on both my left and right arms. That was over 25 years ago and I have never had an issue since! Thanks Dr. Ritter!

The base of my thumb had been hurting for some time when I finally decided to get an appointment with Dr. Ritter. She quickly diagnosed my problem and clearly explained to me what was causing the pain. She gave me a shot in the base of the thumb, showed me an exercise to help with the thumb's flexibility, and showed me a thumb support which I purchased from the manufacturer. Dr. Ritter was professional, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable on what needed to be done to relieve the pain.

Two years ago I fell and broke 2 fingers on my left hand. Being an emergency situation I was so grateful that she was able to work me in to her schedule. I have had not one regret. She is an excellent caring and knowledgeable doctor. She did my surgery and worked with me to get well. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Dominant right hand disabled. Very disappointed in outcome of surgery and treatment. Should have done an MRI to see tendons. Should have referred me to a more qualified hand surgeon. Finger steady getting worse.

About Me

care philosophy

My practice philosophy revolves around the patient, not just their hand problem. I believe the more patients understand about their hand, and the more input they have into their treatment, the better the outcome.

biography

Dr. Ritter graduated with degrees in Math and Philosophy, but decided to become a hand surgeon after a traumatic thumb injury during medical research. The hand surgeon restored her thumb's form and function. She graduated from Wake Forest University...read more
