Dr. Michelle Romanelli, MD

horrible office and Dr is very unprofessional. Took over a great Drs practice but could never ever match his professionalism or respect for her patients. Front desk person refused to register me because I was "too early" ...when I returned one hour later and sat in the waiting room I had to remind her that "Im back" to register me as she was calling her salon to make appointment for her "mani/pedi !!! Never gave me the 4 page paperwork to fill out but the assistant handed it to me when I finally got into the examining room. As the assistant was weighing me and attempting to do my vitals the doctor kept calling g her for assistance with another patient, leaving me in the examining room twice ...for 20 minutes at a time. Very very unorganized practice and dr very in considerate of asking her medical assistant to leave the patient she is attending and help her with another patient....what kind of medical dr does this?

We became pregnant in the midst of the 2020 lockdown, there was not much knowledge about Covid 19 or how to navigate a pregnancy during these time. We felt so fortunate to have Dr. Romanelli as our OBGYN throughout this experience. She was always there for us when we had questions or concerns, a consummate professional who was approachable with an outgoing personality. We couldn't have done it without her, the staff at 50 Court St, and the hospital staff at NYP. We felt comforted and assured by Dr. Romanelli and her support team. We would definitely go to her again if we have a second child.

It’s hard to put into words what an incredible OBGYN Dr. Romanelli is! She is so personable and knowledgeable and calmed all the anxieties I had about pregnancy and delivery. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience, hands down the best OBGYN.

Personality is ?? amazing, Energy never changes, very informative, never felt like I was rushed in ANY appointment. Never rough, very communicative. Dr Romanelli was very helpful with letters I needed for my difficult employer, respectful, and treats you like as if you were her ONLY patient! ?? Because of schedule difficulties, she couldn’t specifically be the one to assist me in the delivery, but she made sure I was in great hands! Without any exaggeration, the thought if having another baby doesn’t panic me TOO much BECAUSE i know she’ll be guiding me through the way. ???? I’d recommend her 100%.

Professional and Caring!!

As a new patient, I waited 1-1/2 hours to see Dr. Romanelli. After that ridiculously long wait, at the end of my appointment, we discussed a refill for a previously prescribed medication. As it was late in the day, she asked me to call the office in the morning with the dosage. I did and she did not bother to call in the refill. Since then, I have called 4 times and it is 2 weeks later and she has not contacted the pharmacy whatsoever. On all occasions, the office was rude and condescending. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior and treatment. I have never had a doctor drop the ball like this one.

I trusted Romanelli with my care but towards the end of my pregnancy she discriminated against me after delaying my appointments for weeks. Finally I got ahold of her and she told me she was no longer interested in seeing me due to a biased opinion on an irrelevant personal matter. She can’t be trusted.

I could not have survived with out Dr. Michelle. She helped me through my pregnancy and Perfect delivery! She is the sweetest genuine and passionate doctor who puts her patients at the top of her priorities! Her staff is also so helpful and patient. We need more doctors like her! Dr. Romanelli is amazing in every way ! she delivered my daughter and gave me such a beautiful experience, I’m so grateful for her. She is confident, calm, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend her and I’m very particular about my healthcare providers.

The best OB I could have asked for (especially during a pandemic!). Kind, sensitive, intelligent and dedicated to her patients. She helped us through tough moments and made us feel supported every step of the way. Could not recommend her more highly.

She is the best ob/gyn in Brooklyn. She was my doctor when I was pregnant with my first child and I cannot day enough about her. LOVE HER!
