Dr Russell is amazing and supportive of body autonomy. She was so supportive to me when I approached her with what many would have considered to be an “unorthodox” desire to try for a VBAC. She was 100% behind me and I am so grateful to her and the entire maternity staff.

I was referred to Dr. Russell by my old OBGYN (he has since moved to Florida.) Following an ultrasound performed at 22 weeks, Dr. Russell informed me that (1) while there was an cranial measurement that was slightly off "normal symmetry" it was still within the healthy perimeters for all fetuses, (2) she couldn't definitively say what that would mean, and (3) ALTHOUGH I'D PASSED THE TERM LIMITS FOR AN ABORTION - THAT SHE COULD STILL MAKE A FEW PHONE CALLS." She repeated the abortion bit twice.
