Empathetic provider
Dr. Spector was empathetic with great bedside manor. She was patient while explaining my diagnosis and treatment options. She was available for follow up over the phone. She’s been kind in treatment and makes me feel comfortable and heard. She made an unpleasant medical situation much better and I would recommend her to a friend and will definitely continue to trust her with my care.

Bad experience
Rude! Not a great listener. Should not be a woman's health care provider. When I was two days post partum she came to look at my stiches and ripped off the tape so harshly. And wasn't even empathetic about my condition. I am never ever again going to this doctor. She made by other wise great postpartum experience rather bitter for the day she visited me. I did not feel an ounce of care .

It was swift and direct. And straight to the point. No babbling. Everything she did she also explained what she was doing.

I’ve been under Dr. Spector’s care for about 20 years. I was able to witness her skill and expertise as a result of a somewhat complicated hysterectomy performed over a decade ago. I felt confident in the decisions she had to make during surgery. She is skilled, professional and genuinely cares as she always offers suggestions to improve my quality of life as I progress through womanhood. I moved out of the county about 4 years ago, but I drive about an hour in order to remain under her outstanding care.

Dr. Spector is truly one of the best doctors I have. She is knowledgeable and takes the time to review my file prior to seeing me before each visit, asking important questions about any changes to my health. She cares about the well-being of her patients and it shows. I value her advice and trust her more than any doctor I currently see. I actually drive an hour away to see her because she is just that good.

My wife and I had our second child delivered two weeks ago at this hospital. Dr. Spector, our OB/GYN, acted very unprofessionally and did not seem to have our care as a primary concern. Over the course of our stay, Dr. Spector was an alarmist who got into her head that we were COVID carriers. After having my wife take two COVID tests that came back negative, she then wanted us to do a third one. Once a nurse told us we could refuse treatment, we did. Dr. Spector's response was insane. Afterwards, we could hear her standing outside our door screaming at the nurses how she was upset with us and how she was too afraid to even enter our room. When she finally spoke to us, she refused to take any responsibility for our treatment. The very next morning, Dr. Spector's shift ended and it was a telling sign that we were immediately removed from the isolation protocol once the next doctor took over. Every nurse and doctor confirmed it was Dr. Spector's fault we were treated this way.

Dr. Spector came into my room at Adventist Hospital after I gave birth and she made me feel very rushed. I think she saw me a total of 5 minutes and hardly asked any questions. I would not recommend her.

I found Dr. Spector to be very obnoxious, pushy, and inpatient. Throughout my consultation with her, she continued to answer my statements without allowing me to finish. While some patients may appreciate Dr. Spector's overall engagement with patients, I did not care for it all. I will be transferring to another practice. Lastly, being constantly told I'm overweight and everything is attributed to that left me feeling worthless. I felt very berated and belittled leaving her office.
