Negligent at best
I saw Dr. Winter because i had an ultrasound done by a student and i had a ruptured cyst, fibroids, andmore cysts growing. i was in SEVERE pain when it ruptured. Dr. Winter did not even want to do her own ultrasound. She basically offered me birth control and was in the room for 15 minutes. i didn’t even get undressed and i was charged $300 for this visit. I had pain during intercourse, thinning hair, painful cysts, bloating etc. SO MANY symptoms something could be wrong and she did not even care to check or give me correct info. She left out how ruptured cysts could cause sepsis or other issues. she ignored my 4cm cyst growing and did not want to see where it was at. i felt like a ticking time bomb leaving. currently i am bloating like i am 20plus weeks pregnant a year after our visit and i am exhausted from doctors ignoring women’s pain. as a FEMALE DOCTOR, DO. BETTER!!!!!!! negligent is too kind of a word for my experience unfortunately. she is lumped with the rest of them.

Dr. Winter is my favorite doctor of all time. I had a bad experience with a doctor in my childhood that left me with ptsd and horrible anxiety/panic attacks, and Dr. Winter is so friendly, gentle and understanding. I trust her 100%, something I never thought would happen for me with any doctor. She explains everything, takes all the time you need to answer questions, and her exams are quick and painless. If you’re looking for a new ob-gyn, you will not find anyone better!
