Dr Castro is a fine doctor. His staff is either lazy or incompetent. I needed therapy. Took 2 months for his staff to get it started, despite constant reminders. Saturday evening I get a reminder text for my appointment. I get additional reminders on “my chart” app. I get additional reminders & to fill out forms online. As an established patient, had an appointment this morning at 9:30am. I was asked for a referral. Apparently, they believe it’s the patient’s JOB to get referrals & know the codes, to do so. Then give a canned response, about Humana. THEY signed the contract with Humana & know how it works. I recommend going to different doctor, who doesn’t employ the arogant, lazy & incompetent.

Helpful and consistent
I’ve been with him over 2 years or so and he is always super helpful and takes the time to listen and come up with a plan. I’ll stick with him for as long as I’m under cardiac care.

Great experience as a first timer at Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology Specialist in Hollywood, FL., Dr. Miguel Castro, MD has been really professional and has shown true commitment to solve my health issues. We are still addressing them, but he has made me feel I’m in good hands. Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish.
