I went in with the intent of seeing a physician from the urgent care to remove a foreign body from my foot that had been bothering me for a few weeks. Dr. Lorente stepped up to help me. It was minor, but a pain nuisance in my foot. I really appreciated his care and manner.

Disgrace.
This office does not know what they are doing. Scheduled an appt with no issues, insurance accepted, new pts accepted & panel open. Went to the visit all good. Then a day later phone calls from 2 different woman stating they will not see us any more. Then get a letter in the mail stating we can no longer be see. This practice is a disgrace I am reporting them as well. How dare them play with someones health!!!!

Dr. Lorente tried to diagnose me with depression and refused to listen to me when I told him I really am sick. Since then I have discovered a B12 deficiency, abnormally low hormones, low blood pressure, this list goes on. I’m seeing 4 specialists trying to get a diagnosis. I even have slight jaundice now. But gee I must just be depressed! If you look up his other reviews there are reports of this guy doing that to people a lot. Look him up in clerk of courts. Three malpractice lawsuits and leaving the scene of an accident!! What doctor leaves the scene of an accident?!

My son was referred to Dr. Miguel Lorente as a PCP for: severe back, neck, arm, & leg pain; tremors/shocks; fatigue; loss of balance. 1st visit Dr. ordered a MRI. 2nd visit, Dr. stated the MRI was normal & his issue was "depression", prescribed B12, & refused to complete the FMLA paperwork. (MRI report stated a cerv/spine MRI recommended) I went to the dr's office for a copy of his records. When I entered the office no one was behind the desk, & some people were in the waiting room. Approx. 10 ft away behind a frost panel was a woman & a man in medical attire who were speaking fairly loudly. The man was saying, "... he said that he replaced his whole roof this weekend on his cabin in GA. How can he replace a roof when he is supposedly disabled & has bad knees?"{Laughter}Woman replied, " Yeah, like that guy {Son'sName} who was just in here. He's trying to get disability when nothing is wrong with him. I'm sick of people not wanting to work and just sit home while we pay for it"

I've been a patient of Dr. Lorente's for a few years & am very pleased with him & his office staff. I find him very easy to talk with & extremely caring. He's willing to spend time with his patients without making them feel as if he's in a rush. The office staff is polite & friendly. I'm quite with him as our family physician.

Its not easy to be completely negative but on emergency admission for immediate treatment, this Dr at Holmes never followed up the referral from Viera for dialysis setup, in fact, he never bothered to return urgent nurse or patient calls. After 24 hours in rapidly declining condition we fired him from our case and requested a different doctor. Treatment delayed 24 hours. Horrible. considering lawsuit now.

I have seen Dr. Lorente several times and I feel his practice (meaning his staff also) is very good. I can usually get in to see him the same day I call. I feel he takes my issues seriously. He considers his treatment options carefully. He is cautious to not over-prescribe anti-biotics but will prescribe them when warrented. He has a sense of humor. I feel he cares and works with me to help me, treating me like the information I have about my condition is actually important. I recommend him.

Both my husband and I have been admitted to the hospital under Dr Lorente's 'care.' He is not our primary, he is a contract physician that covers hospitalizations for Tricare patients. 3 admissions - every time without even basic medication orders. Each time he came in and completely discounted what the ER physician took time to explain. Effectively communicated that we were wasting his time. Our request for specialists familiar with our condition was only confidence we had in our medical care

I have visited a handful of doctors in my 33 years of life, but this was by far the most horrible experience I have had yet. In my humble opinion, this guy should be delicensed. After showing the doctor my arm tremor, and explaining the loss of sensation I felt, he basically said that there was nothing wrong with me. Upon saying that I was worried and that I would like a referral to get an MRI, he then accused me of having mental issues. I left. Unbelievable!
