A physician that listens and reassures me
I was hospitalized in December and had Dr Ortiz as a pulmonologist. I was scared as it was my first ever hospitalization. Dr Ortiz took the time to listen to me and offered me reassurance when I was scared in the hospital and at the follow up visits in his office. He was thorough in his recommendations and explanations. I feel at ease with his care.

Great pulmonologist
Dr. Ortiz is one of the most compassionate physician I’ve encountered. He treated my mom last year when she was hospitalized. He was very involved in the diagnosis and treatment. One thing I like about him was that he is soft spoken and lowers himself to the level of my mom while speaking to her. I definitely would recommend this pulmonologist to my friends.

He is the least compassionate health care worker i have ever encountered . He does not listen to patient or loved ones. In fact as i was asking questions i was told i was being disrespectful. I would never reccomend this person

Super poor communication, and when communicates does not have affection, compassion in his words. This Dr does not really know how to treat pt’s, does not have compassion in any of his words.
