Dr Moroianu made a quick diagnosis (that my doctor missed) and got me on the correct medication right away. Stopped horrible pain I was living with. He also picked up on another problem that I had no idea I had. He sent me in for some tests, and I was diagnosed with something that I was not even aware of, (that would have lead to severe problems if untreated) and as a result I received treatment for it. In my opinion, my doctor, who I have been a patient of for 20 years, should have caught this! Thank you Dr Moroianu.

Dr. Moroianu took excellent, comprehensive care of my father. He didn’t rush. He listened and asked pertinent questions. He said he would speak with Dad’s primary care physician to include him in the course of treatment. I told him he’s worth his weight in gold and I meant it!

He rushes you, does not listen, and could care less about actually helping his patients. I saw him for over a year and this last visit I had he *finally* noticed one of the cysts I had asked him about each time since our first visit. I'm fed up honestly.

Dr. Moroianu saw me through a very painful bout of Polymyalgia Rheumatica. When I first saw him I could hardly walk but now, thanks to his treatment and advice, I'm able to function without steroids - he saw me through a course of those for several years. When I was in pretty low spirits about lack of progress, he counseled patience, and he was right. His explanation of the mechanics of PMR were very helpful and much appreciated. I was clueless about the function of the adrenal glands :-) I also go to Dr. Moroianu's office for twice-yearly injections of Prolia for osteoporosis. Before I moved to the Richmond area it was much more complicated to get the shots, so I appreciate the convenience of "one stop shopping" at his office, which has an impressive infusion area. This treatment, BTW, helped my osteoporosis. Bone density is better - not a lot, but things are going the right way.

I did not have a great experience with this doctor. Unfortunately he misdiagnosed me with Lupus and prescribed so much medicine I got worse. I now have a Rheumatologist who listens and I'm on no meds for my illness but controlling inflammation with diet, natural supplements and exercise. Unfortunately Moroianu's approach is to simply medicate. Visits at his office were rushed and waiting to be seen sometimes was as long as 30 minutes. Tried to switch to another Dr. in the office they said no

I chose Dr. Morianu based on a review saying he went "above and beyond" to find a diagnosis and cure. This wasn't true for me. Spent over $200, drove an hour each way. Blood tests took over two weeks to come back. No diagnosis was given. I presented him with my research on possible diagnosis as it wasn't RA. He seemed uninterested in my ideas and only recommended I lose weight for 7+ yrs of chronic inflammation, bursitis, and pain. Overweight doesn't explain neck and hand pain... Horrible.

Chronic Pain in Fredericksburg, VA – Dec 14, 2016

I saw Dr. Moroianu because of an illnessthat suspected of being rheumatological, but was not. Despite this, Dr. Moroianu didn't stop investigating possible causes of my illness, and, when he found out I had been hospitalized, contacted the leading expert in the particular autoimmune disease he suspected I had. Thanks to Dr. Moroianu, I was in fact diagnosed with the disorder, & the Mayo specialist & team of specialists at HDH in RVA cured me. Dr. Moroianu, through his tenacity, saved my life.
