Ignores family members
It is easy for someone with bipolar disorder to hold things together for a 10 minute appointment. Provider ignores family complaints/inputs. Provider also refuses to coordinate with other doctors or therapists.

The providers here are OK, but the front desk is a complete mess. The receptionists have no idea what they are doing, and billing is equally disastrous.

Dr. Joshi has literally saved my life many times. I have complete trust and faith in his medical acumen. He is kind and always goes above and beyond what is expected. I feel completely cared for and about. There are frequent office staff changes which makes it hard to develop relationships with the front desk. However, Shannon, who handles the medication line, is AMAZING! She has been so kind and so generous with her time. She knows her business and takes care of it! The office is busy so it is best to make your appointment ahead of time. Although, I will mention that Dr. Joshi has always been able to fit me in when I am in crisis.

My provider left Dr. Joshi's practice. The day of my appointment they seemed surprised and unprepared for me. My appointment felt very rushed. I called back between appoints under my therapist's advice for symptoms I was having. Dr. Joshi was short with me and I don't feel like my concerns were addressed which was frustrating. My symptoms were distressing at the time.

I find that he is extremely knowledgeable in his pharmaceutical background. He comes up with optimal pairings to try to achieve the best results, and will also result to off-label if necessitated. He listens to you to get the best solution. AND he’s in-network for insurance! A rarity for such a psychiatrist. He’s quick to get back to you as well via phone. Quirky character too! He’s a hoot! ?? I was a skeptic at first, but pleasantly surprised and am very satisfied with my treatment I have gotten and continued to get!!

He's the best psychiatrist in my view. Very caring and straight forward in his care. He'll tell you what you need to hear when you need to hear it and is exceptional at knowing what's going on. Don't hesitate to go to him.

While Dr Joshi has been in the profession for over 40 years, his patient re pore for elderly patients is far below standard. I found it impossible to comprehend everything he said. He still speaks with a heavy accent and worse he speaks at a very low volume. Even after telling him of my hearing deficiency, I still had to constantly ask him to repeat and speak louder with what he was telling me. I felt rushed beyond any of my other physicians, My second visit was less than 10 min.

I've been a patient of Dr. Joshi since 2013. Previously, I'd seen several doctors over a period of years, who attempted to treat my depression but none of them were able to help. I am incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Joshi. Through trying several approaches and carefully monitoring my response, he successfully found a treatment that works for me. He is sincerely caring, highly professional, and committed to patient care.

I WAS a long time patient with him. I left the practice because I felt he wasn't listening to me and would not change my medication. Not to mention the rudeness of the staff. And NOONE EVER answers the phone AND you NEVER receive a call back.
