Dr. Milan Jugan Jr, DMD

When he pulled one tooth he told us all we owed was $2,000. His staff assured us that was all. Next day we were told we owed $1,000 more. I paid him $500 and he sent us a letter saying we better pay the 0ther $500 within 10 days or he’s turning us over to collection. I will never use him again or recommend him to anyone.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Jugan for four extractions. She is severely anxiety-ridden and the doctor and his lovely staff handled it better than I ever expected. She actually chickened out during the first attempt at surgery, refusing to cooperate. Rather than kicking us out immediately and ordering us never to return, as would be understandable, the doctor and staff said we’d try again later. The second time was a success and it was done so quickly! I cannot thank Dr. Jugan and all his staff enough for their patience, empathy, and care.

Excellent service. He put two implants for me, back when we were deployed on the USS RONALD REAGAN. Will never forget what he did for me.

I have just had surgery, implants and received a fabulous new smile from Dr. Jugan. He and his entire staff are professional, caring and thorough. His assistant Alex is very kind, efficient and skilled as well. I highly recommend Dr. Jugan and his team to anyone looking for excellent dental care and/or improvements.

I went to Dr. Jugan for a second opinion. The first five star Oral &Max. Dr. that I went to told me I had to have a bone graft done immediately on an implant. I decided to get a second opinion so I went to Dr. Milan Jugan. He examined me carefully, looked over my CT scan, x-rays and told me I’d be wasting my money. He suggested I come back in a year. He not only saved me pain and aggravation but also saved me an expense. My tooth is fine. I recommend him highly as he is an incredible doctor, honest and has integrity. BTW, his staff is competent, courteous and pleasant.

I had a bad experience with Dr. Jugan. I had a difficult lower tooth extraction with a local anesthetic. There was a lot of pounding with the hammer and chisel during which I felt the chisel shaft bumping my front teeth. That evening I noticed the bonding on two of my front teeth was chipped. Meeting with Dr. Jugan and his office manager the following day they took the strong position that they were not responsible for the chipped teeth. I have a good friend that is a retired Dentist and he believes I could have felt the bumping on my front teeth and that the probability of two of my teeth chipping independently a few hours after the tooth extraction to be extremely low. Errors happen but I feel this was handled badly by Dr. Jugan and I do not trust him going forward

I went to Dr. Jugan for 2 implants. One of them necessitated the extraction of a root. He did not take a 3 D scan for the surgery. A 2 D scan was good enough, he said. Several months later, when I wanted to get abutments/crowns for the implants, another dentist found that Dr. Jugan had not extracted the root completely. He had left a chunk of root in the socket and placed the implant next to it. The root piece that he did not extract may get infected. When he was asked to acknowledge that he would pay the costs for treatment if the root piece would get infected, he became defensive and offensive and then went silent. Why would an oral surgeon do an incomplete root extraction ? Because he did not take a 3 D scan ? Why did he not tell me that the extraction was incomplete ? I informed my insurance. In addition, Dr. Jugan's Keystone implants are restored only by a few dentists, and the ones he prefers charge twice the amount for abutments/crowns. Avoid this surgeon.

I had a horrible time at Dr. Jugan office today. We arrived and had a wonderful experience with the girls that worked there. The problem was the Dr., he was very rude at one point he yelled at me. He was very unprofessional and he made me very uncomfortable. My Daughter was the one getting her wisdom teeth out and she said he was mean to her, he never said one word to her. He didn’t say hi, she is 15 and the man doesn’t even make her feel comfortable. I will never return to that dr.

I have had four implants done by Dr. Jugan, two if which (front teeth) were very demanding. I can't begin to recommend him highly enough. He takes time, explains the procedures(and alternatives) very carefully, and does extraordinarily fine work.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. . Time was of the essence and I scheduled a consultation which he couldn't accommodate for two more weeks. While waiting for the two week appointment I went to another implant surgeon and got a REAL consultation. When the two weeks were up I went to Dr. Jugan only to find that he wanted me to come back in two more weeks and meet with his office manager. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION CONCERNING MY MOUTH WAS GIVEN EXCEPT FOR A $175 BILL BY MAIL.
