Sorry, Not for Me
He was nearly 50 minutes behind by 11:00 am. People with an afternoon appointment must have waited 2+ hours. Clearly he is taking on far more work than he can manage. If someone had informed me of an unusual situation and a long delay, I might have been willing to schedule another time. No one extended such a courtesy. I'm not willing to trust my health to an overworked, mismanaged practice.

The most amazing doctor I've ever gone to! I was in severe pain and he was the only one to put my mine at ease. The surgery went great! My knee has never felt better! I'm telling you: THE best!

I came to Dr. Zgonis a few years ago with severe left knee pain. I give him and his staff credit for wanting to try injections and PT before he suggested surgery. It was my fault for running, which severely aggravated my knee, I was hoping to lose weight and improve my health. Dr. Zgonis and his assistant were very sweet, funny, helped me to relax and were prompt at returning emails. I went to another orthopedic practice because I was very hesitant about a surgery that he was suggesting, which other doctors said may have worsened my knee and led to future surgeries. I have gone elsewhere because surgery would have put me out of work and set me back. I see why he suggested surgery, as a way to end my pain. I’m proud to say that 2 1/2 years later, I have had no surgeries, fewer injections, and I credit that to weight loss and lots of healthy exercise, brisk walking. I wish Dr. Zgonis and his staff all the very best!! Take care and good luck in the future.

On Wednesday, September 18th, I was scheduled with Dr. Miltiadis H Zgonis. I had been anticipating this visit for about a week or so, as I’ve had a consistent problem regarding my knees pointing inwards at a 30 degree angle. I had gone through months of physical therapy through OSS Health, in hopes that the pain and difficulty in my knees would go away. However, all this did was strengthen my hips and did not prevent the continuous pain I have around my knees and their inward-pointing position. I was recommended by a specialist at OSS, to see Dr. Zgonis, as there was nothing more they were able to do at OSS. My knees were pointing inward due to the fact that my hips are rotating in as I was born with it. Upon driving a total of 5 hours that day, in hopes that after 7 years, I would have this problem solved. Unfortunately, the entire appointment was a disappointment. Dr. Zgonis invalidated my feelings about MY knees and because of the fact that I did not point to a specific area of pain

I went to Dr Zgonis in 2016 he was my second opinion I was told I needed a knee replacement I was only 41 and didn't really want to do that yet:...he offered me another option so I wouldn't have to go with a knee replacement....it has been over a year since my surgery and I feel great..Dr Zgonis really listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions....i would highly recommend him to anyone....just his bedside manner and he is an excellent surgeon/doctor

I saw Dr. Zgonis for acute shoulder pain that I had been having for 8 weeks. My pain was bad enough that I couldn't sleep at night, and couldn't turn my head in any direction. He was an hour behind schedule, wouldn't let me finish explaining my symptoms before he diagnosed me with a "strained muscle," and prescribed PT. After no improvement for weeks, I saw a neurologist who told me that I actually had a herniated disc that was causing radiating nerve pain down my shoulder... thanks Dr. Zgonis.

While Dr. Zgonis was running a bit behind schedule, it was clear why after seeing him. I've been dealing with a knee injury for some time now and Dr. Zgonis was able to help me and gave me all of the time I needed to ask my questions, a truly great bedside manner. He was recommended to me by a friend that had surgery with him and I could not be happier with the recommendation.

went for a appointment today at 12:20. Waited until 1:10 minutes, then I left without ever seeing him. I'll never be back. My time is valuable too. He needs to invest in a scheduler.

He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything until the patient and family understand. He is able to get his point across without talking down to his patients and he doesn't rush through the appointment, so can at times be understandably delayed. It was very easy to get appointments as needed for my daughter who had a torn acl, LCL and mcl, resulting in acl reconstruction.
