Phenomenal Doctor and person
Telehealth
To whom it may concern,Dr. Minaxi Jhawer has been my oncologist since I came to her in June of 2019 with colorectal cancer. She was an absolute God send to me and my family at this time. Our initial visit was open and honest and she took the time to listen to my and my wife’s concerns and asked about our children and offered support. Her expertise in this field is incredible as she explained with diagrams what had happened and why the course of action needed to be taken. Over these past 5 years of this journey she has been extremely supportive, caring, compassionate, and sympathetic to my recovery. She has fought for my tests for hours on the phone with my insurance companies over the years to get me the tests needed. I have enjoyed being her patient as crazy as this may sound because of her warmth, honesty, and caring ways. I am blessed to again have had her as my oncologist and her very accommodating, caring staff as well. Englewood Medical should recognize how lucky they are to ha

The best!
She’s wonderful, intelligent, and thorough. She’s smart and talks fast but if you need more detail or clarity she will help you with that. She works a few steps ahead but it’s all to provide you with the best care.

My mother was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and referred to Dr. Jhawer. From the moment we met her, we were so impressed with her knowledge, skill, and most importantly, her compassion. She took the time to thoroughly explain the diagnosis, answer any questions, and discuss the treatment options. We are only at the beginning of this journey, yet we could not feel more confident with our choice of doctor. At each visit we have been so impressed with every member of her team.

The very first meeting with Dr. Jhawer was very comfortable and her demeanor and knowledge calmed my anxiety. I knew she was the right doctor for me. After almost 2 years of treatment by her for metastatic pancreatic cancer, Dr. Jhawer has proven her expertise in the field of oncology. I am sure if I treated at another hospital or with another oncologist, I would not be here today. I highly recommend her to anyone suffering with cancer as she is very compassionate and understanding.

During my visits with her I found her to be very knowledgeable, compassionate and reassuring. She came highly recommended from several doctors at Sloan Kettering in Manhattan where she worked for many years. My treatment was well outlined and thought out. After being her patient for past few years I think she is one of the best cancer doctors around and I highly recommend her.
