A nice person, had 1 visit with, then she departed the area. Scripps cannot keep neurologists in Encinitas very well who knows why.

After researching local neurologists, I was excited to meet Dr. Bixby; however, I have left a couple of appointment request messages over the past couple of weeks and have not received any response. This experience is similar to other reviews I had come across but I was hopeful that the office had corrected the issue. Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Dr. Bixby is the third neurologist I have seen for treatment for dystonia. She is the first to chart and make a plan for my injections and dosage to improve results. She's very compassionate.

Dr. Mindy Bixby is the most caring and compassionate physician I have ever seen. She is so easy to talk to and Completely knowledgeable in neurology that you feel safe and excited to be in her office. She takes her time to listen to you and makes you feel heard and always has a solution for any problem you might have as she explains everything clearly. When I have a visit for my migraines I always leave feeling uplifted and happy. Dr. Bixby is one of the best physicians in Orange County.

Lee has been Dr Bixbys patient for approximately 4 years now. We always comment that she has the best bedside manner of any of our doctors. She really cares about her patients. Both she and her staff make us feel like we are all part of the Parkinson’s team effort. We have attended several talks presented by Dr Bixby about Parkinson’s and related topics, like nutrition and constipation. She is an excellent communicator, both knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Bixby is an amazing listener. I have chronic migraine, and she is trying many different treatment options. If something doesn't work, we try another. She takes her time with me at each appointment, and thoroughly explains everything!

Outstanding doctor. Sincerely cares about patient's well being. Provides thoughtful and knowledgeable engagement. Clearly explains all options. The model for how all doctors should treat their patients. I travel from FL to SoCal to see Dr Bixby.

Dr. Bixby is the most personal and thorough dr I have ever met!! She listens, explains and really cares! She took my mother in law's hand, looked her in the eye and spoke to her like she mattered. Truly a remarkanle doctor. Dr Bixby enters the room each time having already reviews the chart, knows what is going on and has possible solutions. Her bedside manner should be the example for every doctor out there! Especially dr.'s dealing with the elderly. Dr. Bixby is a rare gem!!!!

Dr. Bixby is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. I've honestly never met anyone as caring as her and educated. I fully trust every decision she has made towards my treatment plan. I was in severe pain for years to the point it caused depression and Dr. Bixby was able to help out and that pain is almost gone, Life saver!!!
