Most uncaring Dr. in all of Tampa Bay!
Dr. Onea is the most unprofessional Dr. I've ever dealt with. Her staff especially Katina are the rudest people you'll ever encounter at a so called care facility. I was threatened about a review I left, then dropped, left without medication, no showed at an infusion and worst of all a colonoscopy after prepping. This facility broke all patient codes and is being investigated by the FL dept of health!!! Run as fast as you can or you will end up like the rest of her patients. They've already closed 1 location and will probably be shut down at the Palm Harbor 1.

I saw at least 10 gastroenterologist over the course of 5 years. No one could figure out what was causing my GI pain. All these doctors ordered all kinds of tests, all of them inconclusive. Dr. Onea was the only only one who figured out how to treat my problem. I am not 2 years + pain free thanks to her excellent knowledge and care. I highly recommend Dr. Onea.

Thorough and kind
Dr Onea takes the time to explain how everything GI works, what would be the best treatment and why that would work. She's very kind and thorough and cares about her patients.

I was so sick yesterday. I thought perhaps it was a reaction to the medicine Dr Onea prescribed. I called early in the morning. It is now one day later and THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. The staff at this office is incompetent and uncaring. The dr could have called back too. It’s now 3:00 the next day. No response from this non compassionate staff. I’m not going back to them.

I had a very good experience with Dr Onea, I was very nervous about my apt and I felt like she listened and was very efficient and caring in our appt. She made me feel very comfortable.

This is one of those doctors where you are rushed in the appointment after waiting months to see her. She does not listen to you and compares your health to your body weight. If you are not skinny enough you will not be treated with professionalism. You also will have on adverage 5-7minutes to talk before she will exit the room. You have to beg for her attention and for her to run tests. Lack of nutritional knowledge as well. Remember to request the denial of treatments and tests be placed on record in file.

I completely fail to see how this Dr. and it’s associates have received their accolades. I entered the ER at Mease Countryside complaining of abdominal pain. This Gastrology firm determined that I had a serious case of diverticulitis. After my hospital treatment of antibiotics i was required to have a repeated CT scan (3 weeks later) Dr. O’Neal scheduled a CT scan and never followed up with me on results or next steps. It’s now been 2 weeks later and 4 calls to Onea’s assistant and no return cal

After going to the hosp 3 times for chest pain and even being admitted and getting no answers, the office just told me I have to come in for a consultation when she just saw me two days ago in the hospital. Instead of going above and beyond and accommodating me since I have already spent so much money and time with this, and prevent going to the hosp again with chest pain, they told me there is nothing they can do. I am done with Florida Hospital and their doctors.

Dr. Onea knows and her "stuff" and I'm not disputing her qualifications but I don't appreciate being talked down to. Her specialty is gastroenterology and it was not her place to bring God into the picture or pressure me about my father's condition and he might not be the same person after treatment. It goes way beyond that. She was condescending. I finally got her to give me the MEDICAL facts and potential complications/side effects, not a lecture about God's wishes!
