She is thorough in her examination and excellent in her surgery.

Disappointing!

Dr. Bettencourt did Moh’s surgery on my nose. Was in terrible pain went back the next morning and was told all the stitches broke. Did not restitch and now have a large scar. Don’t let her touch you. Horrible experience and horrible bedside manner

Talked more to interns than us. Was very curt in the few words spoken. Spouse was asked to undress and given a blanket to cover up, and the doctor pulled the blanket off without warning or asking, and threw it on the chair in front of 3 interns. Very degrading and embarassing. Took a useless biopsy that is now a permanent scar on the top of the hand. We felt like she didn't want LGBTQ patients.

I have gone to Dr Bettencourt for 15 years. She is always professional in her dealings. I have had several procedures done, and all were successfully completed. I have and will continue to highly recommend her to my friends.

She came very highly recommended from a number of friends, and she did not disappoint. Professional, knowledgeable, and nice. I am reading some of the one star reviews and have no clue how they could be talking about the same person. She's for sure my new dermatologist.

This office wants you to come in for refills. I quit.

Dr. Bettencourt left a horrible mess on the side of my leg and it still looks horrible! Five years ago, I had a total knee replacement, where he cut the bones above and below my knee and did the whole procedure and there's just a small incision, that you can barely see. Dr. Bettencourt left a gouge in my leg and a huge scar! The doctor she turned me over to, after creating a huge hole in my leg, was totally scared and overwhelmed with the huge gap in my leg and did the sutures anyway. 3 years later it's still disgusting to look at. I should've known when I saw that her waiting room was full with others awaiting their Mohs surgeries as well. I see she now has specialized in Mohs surgeries. Makes sense. I have other friends who have used her in the past. She cuts them up so much that they've left her practice as well. Huge warnings here! I've never written a bad review on any doctor before or felt so taken advantage of, from a doctor, in my 60+ years on this planet.

Dr. Bettencourt is always very thorough with her examinations. Also, she clearly explains the results and provides me with options.

Dr. Bettencourt and staff are very nice. Dr. B is very knowledgeable and gives one a very thorough look over of your skin. The only issue I have is what they charge. Two times they have taken the full amount of the visit and not waited for my insurance to bill. So, the end result is they have had to reimburse me half of the charges twice.

Dr. Bettencourt was voted the best Dermotologist in the Valley back when I was looking for a doctor and made my first appointment. I felt extrememly fortunate and that feeling has never subsided. I trust her expertise, I appreciate her guidance, and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for excellent treatment.

Dr B’s diagnosis and treatment is always spot on and appointments are relatively easy to obtain.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bettencourt; in fact, I have on several occasions. The office is efficient and courteous. The wait time is very short. Dr. Bettencourt is polite and professional. She gets right to the point and focuses on the task at hand. One time I had a problem which four doctor's were unable to treat effectively. Dr. Bettencourt solved the problem on the first try.

I had scheduled the removal of a cancerous mole on my leg. After sitting in the waiting room for over an hour then put in a room to wait another 30 minutes. When she arrived the staff had set up her surgical tray incorrectly. She told them to redo the tray to provide the correct instruments and left the room for another 30 minutes to see the next patient. When she returned she was very rushed and still had issues with the surgical tray and not the right tools. It made me uncomfortable to see how she treated her staff and how incompetent everyone seemed. I almost walked out but they had numbed the area and gotten it all prepped. She hurriedly started surgery on my leg and she seemed rushed and irritated. I was not pleased with how she treated me and the staff and I will never go back again.

Incredibly inept people skills, egotistical, and over rated Lacking empathy, can be very short in layman advise

Brought my 90yr mother in ( I am 70yr). Staff refused to let me in with her even though she has some confusion about some medical services and slight memory problems. Refused to allow me in waiting room to wait. Left me out in entrance lobby of large buisness complex (high traffic area) with no available seating or social spacing.
